Main Street Bistro and Bakery combines French elegance with a casual dining experience in the heart of Historic Downtown Grapevine. Our dinner service boasts some of our favorite French dishes like Mussels and Duck Confit and American classics like Short Ribs and Shrimp and Grits. Enhance your dining experience with a signature cocktail or a glass of Bordeaux. And don’t forget to try one of our famous desserts, handcrafted daily by our Executive French Pastry Chef!

We serve Weekend Brunch Saturday and Sunday 7:00 am - 4:00 pm. Brunch is available for walk-ins and waitlist only; no reservations for Weekend Brunch.

My wife and I took our best friends to Chez Fabien in Grapevine to celebrate a birthday. Hudson greeted us at the door and courteously escorted us to our booth. Our server, Eric, was courteous and attentive without being intrusive. The ambience was lovely old European cozy, and the food was absolutely delicious -- highly recommend the Truffle Parmesan Fries, the Short Ribs Beef Bourguignon, and the Fire & Ice cocktail (if you like spicy!). The birthday surprise was a scrumptious chocolate dessert ... believe it was the Bread Pudding: dark chocolate ganache, with creme brulee filling, and whipped cream -- Yum! -- with an inserted fiery Roman candle-like sparkler lighting up the table! Between the small venue, the lively din of conversation in the room -- on a Thursday night, yet! -- and the live singer/guitarist, it was a bit difficult to hear at the table, but that's small potatoes for everything else being so superb! We highly recommend Chez Fabien!

Great food & service! A bit pricey, but acceptable. Super loud, which has always been the case. Old building, brick interiors, just goes with the territory!

We had a amazing dinner , and our waiter Eric Bloom is very professional , friendly , and very knowledgeable about the menu . We will definitely go back . We had the filet and it was so delicious ❤️❤️

We recently dined at Chez Fabien, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of fantastic! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm hospitality that set the tone for the evening. The food quality was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented, rich in flavor, and prepared to perfection. Whether it was the appetizers, mains, or dessert, each course exceeded my expectations. The service was impeccable as well. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made us feel welcome throughout our meal without being intrusive. They had great recommendations and were always ready to assist with a smile. The ambience added to the overall enjoyment. The restaurant's decor was elegant and cozy, making it a perfect setting for a relaxing meal. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or just enjoying a night out, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. Lastly, the value for the quality of food and service was excellent. I felt the prices were very reasonable considering the high standards they uphold in every aspect. I highly recommend Chez Fabien for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. We will definitely be returning soon!

Decided to take husband here for our anniversary and to celebrate his new job. I was a returning customer but husband had never been before. The duck confit and the short rib beef bourguignon were amazing. We got the bread pudding to go.

Enjoyed the atmosphere and dining experience in downtown Grapevine. Staff for cordial and very helpful with explaining a wide variety of fare. The drinks were well poured and concocted. Highly recommend for both groups and a nice night it with a special person.

The food was disappointing and prices high. I had the wedge salad with shrimp and my eggs were runny, the dressing just so so and shrimp over cooked. Very disappointed as if had it before and it was delicious.

Great table, a nice booth just past the bar. Very loud, and apparently disrupted ourcserver’s hearing. My order was misunderstood, but hurried my medium rare steak frites. I understood, and everyone loved their meals. It was a birthday meal, and server made it right with a great raspberry lemon cake, with great fireworks! My wife’s favorite place and happy wife is what I seek! Thank you
