Maie Day is bringing prime time to South Congress Ave every Friday lunch, from 11AM-3PM, or ‘til sold out!* Enjoy a thick slice of famous wagyu prime rib with au jus and horseradish cream for $19, sliced hot & to order by Chef Michael Fojtasek from Maie Day’s premier tableside prime rib cart. Add on creamed kale and mashed potatoes for $8 each for a full plate. Dig in while you jam along to live music by Austin’s own Grateful Dead tribute band, Fennario Flats and save room for a Gimme Burger: the full brunch and bar menu is available to order, too. We went for a splurge anniversary dinner and split the rib eye, mac n cheese & rolls - all were incredible- had to order a second round of rolls cause we just couldn’t get enough! Our server, Kaitlin, was charming and so attentive and fun …she brought us a free desert- omg - the three layer chocolate cake - unbelievable- we live in the neighborhood so had to roll home we ate so much but well worth it!! Also love their art and overall branding! Thank you Maie Day !

Excellent brunch. Possibly the best avocado toast I’ve ever had. Grilled sourdough was perfect. Burger and sliders got rave reviews. Armstrong dip wasn’t as good as its namesake but we really liked it. And biscuit chips… yum!

Food was too salty but pretty high quality. Drinks were great. Tried to order green beans to get something healthy but they were covered in some type of weird gravy.

Very long wait especially for mediocre food quality, poor service overall, didn’t seem like the kitchen had their ducks in a row. Maybe server forgot to put order in but there were not that many people in the dining room for that to have been a reasonable mistake to make.

Great NY strip steak. Took 25 mins to get it, food came out erratically, very understaffed. Our waitress was doing her absolute best, but was no match for a slow (maybe also understaffed) kitchen. This is a management issue. If you want to charge these prices, you have to make sure that all of the menu is worth it, and that it's served in good time, at the same time - top down. Sorry - if this were half the price, I wouldn't complain, but you're asking for a certain amount of money, you have to deliver a worthwhile product. Won't return. Too bad, bc it's in our neighborhood.

Went to Maie Day for my wife's birthday and our dinner was beyond expectations and we were blown away! Every dish was so incredibly delicious and service staff (Josh) was just amazing. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful waitress and staff. The food was great. We like the idea of sharing-family style. We really liked the bourbon oysters-unique! The only complaint-The noise/music was loud so we had to speak louder than usual.
