Poor service, ambiance and generally a bad meal. These individuals do not know how to run a restaurant, stick to catering.

Subpar food. Not as good as the original location. Service was not good — they seem to not be adequately staffed but still charge 20% gratuity (which is also a reason why they seem to not care). Water was disgusting— tastes like it’s from a water hose. Outdoor yard sale patio furniture- comical! Interior was a nicer atmosphere though.

The ambiance was nice and our food was freshly prepared. Everything tasted delicious. The staff was kind and courteous we were a party of 5 ladies for brunch on Sunday. Very good first impression. Thanks Mahogany River Terrace.

The food was fabulous. My brioche French toast we outstanding. The rest of my party’s food was great, as well. The location is second to none in Memphis. The service was terrible. We had brunch, and I asked for an egg as a side. We asked for it 3 times and never received it, yet it was on the bill. Same with my friend’s biscuit. They ran out of creamer for our coffee and they ran out of “to go” boxes. We started out in the patio, and the wind picked up and the flimsy umbrella nearly knocked my head off. Please invest in sturdy umbrellas. Fortunately they moved us inside. Please work the kinks out. It has great potential.

My mom wanted to celebrate her birthday here and we were not disappointed. We had a party of 15 and each and everyone was well taken care of. The food was spot on and the entertainment was matchless. A great time was had by all in attendance. It is definitely a must try.

The restaurant was beautifully decorated although, I would say very cold. Our reservations were originally for a table inside but due to how cold it felt in there; we requested to sit outside. Our server was exceptional and the cocktails were great. Our food; however was not as great as I expected. We have eaten at the original Mahogany and our food was delicious! I was so excited about this location due to the beauty of the restaurant and the river views; and while that part was true, our food was not good. We ordered the catfish and greens. His, fried and mine, blackened. My husband said that his fish was not hot. Not cold, but not hot either. My blackened catfish was raw in the middle. I did notify the waitress and the fish was replaced with fried fish at my request, but like my husbands it was warm. How quickly it came out; I knew that it was not freshly fried. With all that being said, I will give it another try possibly for dinner to see if there will be a different, more desirable outcome.

Attended the Gospel Brunch. Food was great. Staff was attentive and courteous. My cocktail was wonderful. I also had the Mahogany Black Cake which was outstanding. I will be back soon.

Sat us outside in the cold with no heaters, food items not available and food came out cold and wrong
