MAHANIYOM is a tapas/family-style Thai cuisine that brings an exceptional dining experience
to our guests by serving meticulously home-cooked style, authentic Thai cuisine made from
scratch and handcrafted cocktails in an unpretentious feel-like-home atmosphere that
reminisces our home Thailand. Walk-ins welcome. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. We are very small, we highly recommend reservations during peak hours! Reservations and dine-in guests are designated up to 90 minutes. If you are running late, please call us at (617) 487-5986. We hold the table up to 15 minutes past the reservation time.

D'après les éditeur·rices d'OpenTable : À la fois bar à cocktails de quartier et restaurant à tapas, ce lieu en vogue de Chompon Boonnak, un ancien du Shōjō, propose certains des plats thaïlandais les plus savoureux de la ville ; le Boston Magazine l'a d'ailleurs désigné comme le meilleur restaurant thaïlandais de Boston en 2023. Il ne vaudrait mieux pas négliger les plats du menu à partager, mais le bœuf panang et le riz sauté au crabe sont incontournables. Les cocktails, comme le Sazerac au seigle infusé au thé thaï, sont tout aussi remarquables, et l'espace confortable et rustique aux murs en briques apparentes invite à prolonger l'expérience.

I like their special cocktails with Thai flavor, very unique and worth a try. Curry beef and bbq pork was good too!

Was in town for a few days and was told that this place was amazing ahead of time so managed to snag a reservation. Glad I did as it lived up to my expectations. The food was great, I recommend the crispy chicken skin to start. Those were some of the best crunch I've ever had. For the main, I went and tried the Crab meat fried rice and it too was awesome. Will come back whenever I get the chance when I'm in the area again. Book a reservation as I think they're always busy because of how good the food is. Oh, and the ambiance of the restaurant was really good too. It's a bustling restaurant but not too loud which is what I like.

A Thai culinary dining experience to treasure. Each plate was delicious, with engaging presentation. It was our second time trying different dishes each time. All excellent…you cannot go wrong with any dish. Vibrant setting/ambience and excellent service rounded out a great evening at Mahaniyom.

Casual (and a bit noisy) space but fabulous food that will make you keep coming again. The taste and aroma of beef massaman was out of this world, and we also fought over every last bit of salt and pepper pork cheek with sticky rice. Even what you think of simple pad-thai is something else in Mahaniyom. And don't forget the cocktails. I had a spicy pineapple mezcal that was the perfect companion to the variety of flavors I tasted. So glad to have this place in our neighborhood!

Better place for cocktails than food. Ordered the razor clam special and the clams had a crunchy mouth feel from the dirt/sand as they were not thoroughly washed.

Went here with our young daughters and we had a wonderful time. Great food and service. We tried the crab curry, Pad Thai, Rambutan Salad, and the Fried Chive Cake. Everything was delicious - the crab curry was my favorite. My husband and I plan to return without the girls so we can try more dishes.

How is it possible to have a restaurant be this good? The fish, the curry, the clams? Did I say the fish? Wow!

Creative & delicious cocktails. Wonderful small plates. So many flavors, great for sharing and trying many flavors. Server Cam was personable and professional. Great night. Try the fried chicken, Brussels sprouts, pad Thai, duck lettuce wraps & beef Penang.
