Tonight was our first time dining at Mahal. We were looking for a new Indian restaurant and decided to try Mahal for my son-in-law’s birthday. I’m glad we did! The food, drinks and service were outstanding. The restaurant is beautiful and we were seated in a large booth. The wait staff and the owner came to our table many times and were so friendly and helpful. We will be back!

Mahal provided a very satisfying option when looking for good Indian food in a more upscale setting. From the start, the service was outstanding. Our server was helpful, answering our questions and seeking them out when he was not certain. The drinks were delicious, generous and reasonably priced. The appetizers, especially the shrimp, were very good as were the main entrees. It was a nice touch offering complimentary pakoras at the start - they were tasty and hot. I highly recommend Mahal if you are looking for good ambience with good Indian food.

This was our second time. First was amazing and this time not so much. We asked that nothing be spicy and it all was. We were told bread would come w dinner. Came early. We ordered another and it came when we were done eating. Drinks were minimal/diluted pour.

The food is always delicious. Very different choices from the standard. Indian restaurant service is impeccable and the staff friendly Would recommend it to anyone who enjoys good Indian cooking.

We have dined at Mahal numerous times and always loved it. Food is delicious and service has been good, until this past Saturday night. We had a 7:15 reservation and we were told there would be a short wait when we got there. After 15 or 20 minutes, we asked how long it would be and were told 2 minutes. After another 15 minutes, we asked again and were told that people were lingering at their tables over coffee and dessert, but they would clear a table as soon as someone got up. They continued to tell us that, and after about 45 minutes, we looked in the dining room and saw no one was even close to desert - people were either beginning or in the middle of their meals. We understand that people tend to linger but instead of being gracious and apologetic, the host kept misrepresenting the situation and didn’t do anything to accommodate us. In fact, he was downright unpleasant . It was very disappointing and after an hour, we left and had a wonderful dinner another restaurant. What was most upsetting was the misrepresentation. Very disappointing.

It was our first time eating at Mahal. One of the owners and the waitress patiently explained the dishes and suggested what to order so as to get a taste of many items. The food was so outstanding, and a great value. We can’t wait to go back.
