Experience New York City’s largest all-season indoor and outdoor rooftop bar featuring multiple bars, live DJs, bar bites, cocktails, rotating seasonal pop-ups, and epic views of the Empire State Building skyline. Located on the 18th floor, this rooftop bar offers unobstructed views of the Empire State Building and is situated in the heart of Midtown, just blocks from New York City’s most popular destinations, including Madison Square Garden, Penn Station, the Theater District, and Times Square.

We are a 21+ venue, except during our brunch hours on Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 3 pm, which is open to all ages. Physical ID is required; copies are not accepted. All reservations have a 15-minute grace period.
Reservations are optional. Walk-ins and large groups are strongly encouraged.

The service is quite terrible. The host at the entrance is not at all friendly. Once we finally got in despite having reservations, you go up in am elevator and it’s a maze to get to the check in spot. There was no one available to check us in but we also didn’t know what to do as there was no one to guide us. We finally encounter the second host that took us to our table. The drinks were mediocre, the DJ was great. The food was terrible. It’s Tao restaurant so very surprising that it’s this bad!

Our experience at Magic Hour was amazing! Thank you so much to everyone involved last night making us feel special. The ambiance and decoration of the place for this summer is beyond what we expected and we had a lot of fun taking pictures with the props.

Dingy chachi and overpriced. Was looking for a pretty place to sip some happy hour drinks before a show and got met with stains and “happy hour is only if you are sitting at the bar”. Not cute.

It was the first time attending Magic Hour. We chose this place to celebrate my husband’s birthday. However, that day July 25th, half of the place was closed off for special events which didn’t allow us to have the full experience of all parts of the bar and lounge so it was a little disappointing but we made the best of it since we were already reserved to be there. It would be nice that they inform people when this happens.

Food and drinks were just ok and the aesthetic section was blocked off for an event. Food took a long time to come out but a highlight was that our waitress was great!

Very lively spot especially on the weekends. Has great views of the Empire State Building and the skyline. The food and drinks were excellent. The bartenders were fast and very good but the table servers didn't check on you often enough.
