We had our 10 year anniversary here and where we checked in we were told congratulations and that we would be seated in the part of the restaurant that would be very intimate and it would be upstairs on the balcony area. When we got Upstairs we were seated next to 25 kids between the ages of 11 and 15 with no adult supervision, ( no joke) only to find out that the parents were sat on the opposite side of the balcony away from the kids. The kids were very loud and running around. Nobody not even a manager or anything went to the parents to ask him them to quiet down or to ask them to sit at the table with their kids. On top of that, we were sat right next to the bathrooms Where there was very high traffic. The food was really delicious and we ordered two adult drinks which we didn’t receive until we were almost done with our entrée. We weren’t too happy about that and when we we’re about to cancel the drinks the waitress came with them so we decided to keep them, we ordered a dessert and waited a half hour for one dessert to share. Over all a great place to go to if you wanna have a birthday party for somebody or something like that for an intimate setting with your loved one on a 10 year anniversary not so much Ruth Chris steakhouse downtown St. Louis would’ve been a better choice for us.

The waitress was friendly, the ambiance was good for catching up with a friend, but the food was subpar. My tiramisu was perfect though!

We were seated immediately upon arrival, in a nice booth with spotless silverware. The upgraded black and white tabletop is a tasteful improvement over the old picnic-style design. Our server, Jack, was attentive and served our beverages promptly. I enjoyed a glass of Sancerre with our appetizers and salads. Maggiano's calamari, with its to-die-for garlic aioli, is a must-try. The chilled Caesar salads were crisp and had just the right acidity. The wine paired well with the starters. Our courses were well-paced throughout the meal. For the main course, we selected a bottle of Super Tuscan, opened by Maggiano's new Sommelier, which complemented our steak medallions perfectly. Despite this being a pasta house, the steak was outstanding—cooked to a perfect medium rare and of superb quality. We also shared a side of mushroom ravioli, which paired wonderfully with the wine. To finish, we indulged in Crème Brulée with tawny port, a combination to die for, followed by cappuccinos and cognac. If you're seeking a fine dining experience without the stuffy atmosphere, Maggiano's should be on your list. With a well-curated wine selection and professional service, it offers a satisfying experience that won't disappoint.

We always enjoy Maggiano's. The service is usually quite good, and typically very attentive, but even after requesting a refill of our iced tea, it never came. I believe our waiter simply had too many tables to take care of, so likely the fault is more on management.

Another fabulous experience at Maggianos! Just three of us dining tonight, we were seated quickly, served quickly to with our drinks. Our waitress was really great very patient and kind. Despite just being three of us, two of us could be a little high maintenance ha! Yikes.. sorry! She did not at all make us feel like a problem and was a complete pro! The food was excellent, well prepared, perfect temperature, very tasty! We always highly recommend this restaurant for any and all occasions! We’ve been coming along time and we absolutely love it. Never disappoints!

The staff was courteous and they were trying. However the actual service was abysmal. Drinks took 45 minutes to arrive. Salads were served over a 30 minute time period with no rhyme or reason as to who was served when. The main course followed the same pattern but on top of not serving people at the same time, many of the meals were cold. We sent back one meal twice but it came out cold twice and the pasta was not cooked. Needless to say, we unfortunately will not return.
