Maggianos used to be one of the only few high end Italian chains left and we used to visit often. A few years back this location went down and we stopped going, but the kids wanted Italian and we couldn't think of anywhere else so we decided to give it another chance. We are glad we did. This location is back to the old days. Food quality was excellent. We did the family meal and were pleasantly surprised to see all our favorites delivered quickly and very tasty and well prepared. Rigatoni D was how we remember it, the salads were amazing. Salmon, chicken piccata all fantastic. Something new we tried which we were glad we did was the Whipped Ricotta. A fantastic light option that offset the heavy (but delicious) Calamari we ordered. Deserts were on point. The executive chef stopped by and spoke to us for quite a while. I can see why the food quality has dramatically improved, the timing seems to match his arrival exactly. Will definitely stop by routinely in the future now we know the location is great again. Service by the way was excellent. Waitress was very friendly, understanding and checked in often. Great overall experience.

This is our family restaurant, we celebrated my sons birthday on Sep 20th and as always we were completely impressed with how each time they raise the bar. From accommodations for the baby (booster and crayons available when we sat) making my son feel special on his day, no wait time upon arrival, availability of staff... All Great Things ... As always we'll be back.

Food was raw and rather than apologizing, waiter simply said, I’ll take it off your check. It was my birthday and got nothing. What a terrible experience.

Hostess seated us in high traffic area though the restaurant was half full. They have become pricey - bill was $50 a person for lunch with two glasses of wine from our group. Food is delicious. A lunch menu with less food and cost would make sense.

Very disappointed with the quality of the food. The seafood pasta dish was more water from the pasta than sauce. The Chicken Franchise, if you can make it right, leave it off the menu. Your signature rigatoni dish was very salty. You should concentrate on getting return customers rather than presenting food that is guaranteed to keep them away.

We love Maggiano’s in Garden City. We’ve always had great experiences. Yana was our server/waitress which I had requested, since we had her before. She is amazing. We love her friendliness and her upbeat personality. It makes our whole dining experience so much better and relaxing after a hard work week in the City. Yana is definitely a keeper.
