I chose this place because it's a "safe" option, knowing that it's a bit roomier and more upscale than many of the small, mom-and-pop Italian places in the city. The table, in our booth, though, wasn't roomy. It was a tough squeeze for both my wife and me. The service was friendly, but the place lacked the refinement I was hoping for. When asked if we wanted grated cheese, the server brought a shaker to the table rather than offering to grate it fresh. I know it's a minor thing, but even Olive Garden does this and makes an effort to provide high level service. We were seated early in the evening, and the sun was shining through the window. The wine glasses on all of the tables appeared cloudy, as if the water used to wash them wasn't clean (or it had a high mineral content). The appearance of the glasses dissuaded me from ordering wine with my meal. While we ate our dinner, a group of male staff was hanging out in the back of the restaurant, near the banquet area, laughing and talking quite loudly. This detracted from the "date" atmosphere I was hoping for.

Overall good experience considering how busy the restaurant was. My only issue was in how long it took to be seated with a reservation. I know they were busy but the table where they sat us was ready at our reservation time ( I peeked and saw the table around the corner) but they still sat us 15 minutes past our reservation time. Our server was knowledgeable and friendly but we had to ask for bread and I never got a water refill. Food quality and taste was to Maggiano's standards. We were surprised at the small portions for the crab entrees. Would we go again? Yes.

I made reservations and waited for 20 to 25 minutes for a seat. It was as if they forgot about me and reservations. When I checked with the desk for the 3rd time, they seated me at a high top table in the bar area. We made it work, but not what I was expecting

The service was really great. I loved the attentiveness of our waitress. The management stopped by to help clear tables and bring drinks etc. The food was served hot and tasted very good.

Showed up for a reservation at 11:15 and the restaurant was closed. Very disappointing! Staff was roaming around inside saw us outside. There were other people waiting. We left after waiting for 10mins.

Disappointing - our group had a reservation and all the food came out at the same time…the salads came out and two minutes later the entrees were delivered - no time to enjoy the salads at all. Server apologized but there was obviously a disconnect between the floor and the kitchen.
