   The restaurant visit last night could have been great except the party of eight close to us was so loud that I was uncomfortable until they left. Besides them the general noise level was high. My friend and I had to almost shout to converse. We had a waiter who was good at putting on a pretense of being at an expensive Manhattan restaurant except he was somewhat inappropriate and half of what he said was mumbled. Good food, but too bad the environment was not conducive to relaxed dining. The place was clearly designed to move as many people in and out as quickly as possible.

   It was a wonderful evening. The waitress and server were fantastic. Not only were they attentive, but also friendly throughout the evening. The food was excellent as well.

   Great service, Great food, but it was noisy, hard to hear a regular conversation.

   Food is very good and authentic. Our server Lizzy was patient with us and offered suggestions. The timing was perfect.

   The staff we encountered were absolutely wonderful! They’re welcoming, friendly, and bring a positive vibe! Only two minor concerns really- A couple of our meals were not really to the standard we remembered/expected (as far as flavor). This was our first time back after a couple years and it seems like some items just weren’t as good as they used to be; Not awful, just not as great as we remembered. Could have been an off night; it happens. Also, the glassware on our table was not thoroughly cleaned and/or polished. You could tell it was run through the dishwasher, but there were bits of food particles dried to the side and water spots on almost all of them, and presence of lipstick on a few. Our server kindly got us new glasses as soon as we let her know- but unfortunately, some of those were also a little crusty. Easy to miss if you are just grabbing it quickly, but I always make sure to check my glassware and utensils in a restaurant because I know that the dishwashers don’t always work as well as you would hope. It’s just a matter of paying close attention to those little details. It’s offputting drinking from a dirty glass.

   I was very annoyed by the end of our night, I do work in the service industry and really don’t seem to complain but we were sat tonight and it took 10 or so minutes to be greet when it looked like our server only had 2 other tables, we gave our orders, took a while for the appetizer and then the kids food came out without our entrees after that multiple tables around us were done or eating that sat after us, mind you when our app came out my martini was wrong when trying to flag our server and any other server down and manager it was ignored, the kind and attentive food runner got me what I needed. Then our food was out for a while before the server asked if we needed anything else as we saw all the other tables in our area be done and gone, we asked for a drink menu and our server gave it to me without eye contact. It felt as though he was weeded and didn’t care about us. He kinda threw the drink menu at me without eye contact and when we did order another round, he poured my husband more than was ordered and finished the bottle in my glass which I wouldnt complain about but then charged us for 3 glasses instead of 2 whenever we ordered two. After this experience I was pretty annoyed as he really didn’t address me or my husband until he learned we worked in the service industry. Then he was making conversation after the annoyances. I typically give the servers the benefit of the doubt but the manager kept walking looking at empty tables and didn’t even touch the tables that were there. When leaving I asked for a manager and got told they were in the back, all I wanted to do was make aware, I had already paid and tipped. Our servers name was Randy.

   Maggianos @ Mayfair is consistently wonderful! Every associate from the hostess to Host Mitchell to server Brietta exhibited professionalism, warmth and kindness. What I would describe as “Agape Love”. We look forward to our dinners there and are never disappointed. The food is bountiful and delicious:)

   Service was a little slow and it took us another 15 minutes past our reservation time to get seated. Food is great Italian comfort food.

    The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We had lunch with friends and we all enjoyed the ambience. We were able to have a good visit while enjoying a terrific meal.
