Welcome to Madrina, where we focus on seasonal products and authentic ingredients from Spain to reimagine a menu that marries innovation and fun with Barcelona classics.

Our 37ft bar serves sangria, cocktails, and traditional tapas. In true Catalonian fashion, the bar features a ham carving station and a Spanish-style glass display case with cold bar delicacies. The open kitchen provides a window into the work from the brilliant team behind the menu, offering modern interpretations of traditional Catalonian tapas.

We are proud to be the first restaurant in Canada to earn the coveted "Restaurants from Spain" certification, identifying Madrina for the use of authentic Spanish ingredients and techniques. We are also thrilled to have been part of the Michelin Guide in 2022 and 2023.

Our wine list showcases many beautiful Spanish grape varieties and regions, including some indigenous grapes, while our famed cocktail list features wonderfully creative cocktails.

la cuisine est fine et rafinnee mais assea moderne. ll'un des olats ( poulpe) etait trop salee, le carpaccio etait trop gras et manquait d'assaisonnement et pour finir la sauce pimentee sur les patatas bravas etait decevante nous l'avons indique a CHAQUE fois a la serveuse qui nous a indique en prendre note (!!!). les cuimleres etaient oubliee, les vettes vides et im fallait systematiquement "attraper" la setveuse pout qu'elle fasse quelque chose. le service est simplement hors sujet.

The service was great and the menu was really good. The portions were a lot smaller than expected and the food flavours weren’t as expected. A lot of the pieces on each item were so minimal they were barely tasted which was a shame for such a great menu. Setting and ambience was lovely, and wonderful service

Excellent service with server and Michelle. One food concern was handled efficiently and graciously, ensuring we were not made to feel uncomfortable.

The food was overpriced ( and we are from the Bay Area in CA ) and very small Portions. Some bites were great ( enjoyed octopus but not the potatoes , oxtail buns). Most tables have high tops that are super uncomfortable and the staff is not very accommodating We were celebrating my son’s 25th bday. Our bill for 5 was 450$. And they brought him a candle in rocks. Not even a scoop of ice cream. Will not come back

I would definitely recommend. I did the chef tasting menu. It was a fun experience and I loved being able to try new things even though I didn’t like most of it. The atmosphere and decor was great. I think what bothered me the most is that there wasn’t a cheap wine option and they charged me $11 for bread. My meal excluding drinks was $93 and I went with my 4 year old daughter who won’t eat anything they offer as she is extremely picky. I just wanted some bread for her to eat while I enjoyed my experience, and $11 was a bit outrageous. Also, don’t judge me- I fed her a healthy meal after!

We tried the tasting menu. The food was terrible. It was $93 per person. Too salty and barely had any meat or seafood. The service was awful. We had a reservation at 4pm and they open at 4pm. As we walked into the restaurant at 4, this female staff wearing white T-shirt at the patio yelled at us aggressively “we’re not open yet!” We had to ask the staff to fill up our water. They didn’t check on us even once. I would not recommend this place.

Food is amazing! Definitely a great experience! FYI for people who don't like to eat with their hands don't get the high top tables if you're not planning to eat your food with utensils because the tables have uneven tiles that are just a pain.
