Welcome to Madrina, where we focus on seasonal products and authentic ingredients from Spain to reimagine a menu that marries innovation and fun with Barcelona classics.

Our 37ft bar serves sangria, cocktails, and traditional tapas. In true Catalonian fashion, the bar features a ham carving station and a Spanish-style glass display case with cold bar delicacies. The open kitchen provides a window into the work from the brilliant team behind the menu, offering modern interpretations of traditional Catalonian tapas.

We are proud to be the first restaurant in Canada to earn the coveted "Restaurants from Spain" certification, identifying Madrina for the use of authentic Spanish ingredients and techniques. We are also thrilled to have been part of the Michelin Guide in 2022, 2023 and 2024.

Our wine list showcases many beautiful Spanish grape varieties and regions, including some indigenous grapes, while our famed cocktail list features wonderfully creative cocktails.

Great cocktails and atmosphere, but the food wasn't something to write home about. I had high expectations but found the restaurant to not be worth the hype.

While we are delighted that you enjoyed our cocktails and the atmosphere of our restaurant, we are disappointed that our food did not hit high on your expectations. We assure you that our Chef and team put a lot of care and consideration when sharing comforting and delicious cuisine. Everything was delicious! Our Turkish delight server Altays recommendations were on point. We had the lobster, shrimp croquettas, oysters and some amazing cocktails made by Marianne. This place is a must if you’re in the distillery district or plan to go there! Five stars everytime!

We had a great evening at the Marina. The food was really good and the service, exceptional. We really enjoyed the egg yolks with truffle, bone marrow with beef tartar and truffle manchego cheese. The cocktails were good and looking amazing. The service from the person taking care of the cocktail and wine was especially great. The staff also gladly accommodated one of our party member who is lactose intolerant. We wish there would have been a greater selection of wime bottles for less than 100$. Lastly, the ambiance was great. We would love to come back soon!

Outstanding meal and experience. Couldn’t fault a single aspect of our meal which was 6 Tapas shared between 2. Really great service from all staff working, especially James from Scotland who will clearly be a great asset to the business. Would thoroughly recommend.
