Welcome to Madrina, where we focus on seasonal products and authentic ingredients from Spain to reimagine a menu that marries innovation and fun with Barcelona classics.

Our 37ft bar serves sangria, cocktails, and traditional tapas. In true Catalonian fashion, the bar features a ham carving station and a Spanish-style glass display case with cold bar delicacies. The open kitchen provides a window into the work from the brilliant team behind the menu, offering modern interpretations of traditional Catalonian tapas.

We are proud to be the first restaurant in Canada to earn the coveted "Restaurants from Spain" certification, identifying Madrina for the use of authentic Spanish ingredients and techniques. We are also thrilled to have been part of the Michelin Guide in 2022 and 2023.

Our wine list showcases many beautiful Spanish grape varieties and regions, including some indigenous grapes, while our famed cocktail list features wonderfully creative cocktails.

First time dining at their patio, ambiance was pretty, Food was spectacular and beautiful presentation. We tried mushrooms tapas was citrusy on a crispy base, the East coast oysters with salsa was amazing best oysters i have tried in Toronto. Seafood Paella was delicious Scallops tapas was very delicious ( interesting sauce) And we finished with chocolate ganache desert that was outstanding (absolutely recommend). Our server was very nice and helped us with choices. Overall experience was excellent and we would definitely go back to try more of the menu.

Our server Carmen was excellent. Food and drink were great. Service became a little slower as the patio got busier but Carmen and the food were worth the wait.

Delicious tapas, wonderful service, lively environment. Air conditioning didn’t seem to be working inside, so quite hot, but overall a very memorable me and excellent meal and experience. Will be sure to come back!

Prime location in a historic building. Very stylish and chic. Tapas are extravagant with an elegant mix of traditional Spanish cuisine and Asian flavors.

Madrina has been one of my favorite restaurants for a long time! Their new patio cocktail menu is incredible. I was very sad to see that the lobster cones, and the bone marrow steak tartar were no longer on the menu. 😢

Wide range of tapas. Good value, Highlight was the custom gin and tonic prepared in response to my wife's preferences. Courteous and helpful staff. Also, 15% discount as we were attending Soulpepper that night.

This was a great experience in a cool area of Toronto, *Distillery District". Sat outside before a Blue Jays game and enjoyed some very good drinks & Tapas. Would go back anytime.
