What a hidden gem! Fantastic! Fresh, flavorful food. Beautiful presentation. Beautiful atmosphere and decor. Great service! We will go again!

Went with friends. The food was excellent. Had the lump crap cake, pork tacos, a camerones.... Absolutely excellent. Highly recommend.

The food was excellent- portions on the smaller side. Everything was fresh, The shrimp entree could have used a little more spice. Will dine again!!!

This was our first visit to this restaurant. The interior is very nicely designed. The food was outstanding and the service was equally as hospitable. Great visit!!!

Beautiful coastal chic restaurant. Nice staff but it was terrible service. We got our apps before our first round. Our dinner only okay. Expecting better since the also own Jane, which is fabulous! Java Burrito food is much tastier. Too many other Latin type restaurants to go to. Cactus Cantina, Tio's, San Miguel's. I was hopeful but our group of 8 all agreed, we don't need to go back. It's a shame. We really wanted to love it

Nice ambiance, small menu selection, food arrived faster than our drinks. Food was overall good, nothing exceptional. Not on our radar to return.

Went here for the first time as it has been open 3 months. It is in the old Bonefish location on Hwy. 278 between Palmetto Dunes and Sea Pines. Menu is very limited and expensive for the portions. It is basically an appetizer and taco joint, portrayed as upscale. Waitress was obviously new (let's hope so) as she didn't know if they served draft beer (answer was no). Otherwise, she did an OK job and got all the dishes and bill correct. Corn dip appetizer was good, but the chips were stale and had to be replaced. Guacamole dip was blah...! One diner got the crab and corn bisque for $13, which had no crab and very little corn, mostly broth. I had the pork tacos which were very tasty, other diners had shrimp tacos and weren't impressed. Consensus was that we would not go back. Decor is nice, especially the upholstering of the booths. The owners also have a local eatery (Jane's) which is mostly a lunch place and has plenty of foot traffic at Shelter Cove. Madre is a destination location and harder to find. On a Friday night in high season in Hilton Head, the place wasn't crowded at all.
