The food was very good start to finish. I usually find desserts to be mediocre everywhere but their lava cake was delicious.

We went there for lunch on a hot day and ate indoors. Nice atmosphere and air conditioning was working well. Tables were a little tight and it was a bit noisy. I had the Cobb salad, which was fresh and perfectly prepared, and they accommodated my food allergies. Service was good but a little slow. Overall, an excellent experience and I would go back again.

Restaurant for breakfast had bagels and yogurt because I was told the kitchen wasn’t working. But night before they had dinner service.

On that particular day, we encountered an unexpected issue that required urgent repairs, affecting our ability to use our gas supply. As a result, we had to adjust our offerings temporarily for breakfast, providing bagels and yogurt, as our kitchen was limited in its capabilities. We understand this may have been disappointing, especially considering our regular dinner service the night before. Please accept our sincere apologies for any frustration this may have caused. I've been a few times over the past few years. Somewhat less favorable these days then in earlier attempts. Mid-range review. Service is solid and atmosphere is ok, but food at the price was a bit underperforming. Wine selection is small given the establishment name. Convenient location in midtown.

So noisy at lunch that we had to leave and go to another restaurant. Not a good place to catch up with an old friend and you need to talk and listen.

Wouldn't go back. The Smokey Negroni was super sweet. My brother ordered the lamb special and they gave him the pork chop. He waited 20 minutes and what they brought him still wasn't lamb, but some type of beef. Servers were very nice, but the place is unorganized.

Arrived for an early Sunday breakfast at 9:30. We were the first guests there so why wasn’t the coffee hot? I ordered fresh squeezed orange juice and a bagel. My husband asked for eggs and toast. The toast came without butter, the juice didn’t arrive till we were ready to leave. In almost every way, whatever we needed or wanted, we had to ask. Salt? More coffee? More cream for the coffee? It wasn’t awful, but with so many other places to try, I can’t recommend M&V for breakfast. Maybe they are better for drinks?
