Madigan’s Waterfront is a locally owned and operated seafood and steak restaurant located on the Occoquan River in historic Occoquan, Virginia. As you browse our menus, experience all the expertly prepared foods created by our skilled chefs and served by our friendly and courteous staff. At Madigan’s Waterfront every dining experience is special and unique. Dine by candlelight or the shimmering stars in season. While we offer formal dining at our waterfront restaurant, our guests can also kick back for some casual waterfront dining on our Topside Deck. Also visit our Topside Tiki Bar in the summer months.

We ate outside and while it was humid it wasn’t terrible as there were fans. There was live music and we could hear it but couldn’t make out the songs. Nautical gnocchi was delicious for me. My husband had the dirty chicken. Portion size was good and we each could have finished our meals but saved some for lunch tomorrow.

Service was slow we waited 30mins for water and drink order but good was good. I’m not sure if it was because I was a week day but it took a while for the food and the place wasn’t crowded at all maybe 4 tables and two at the bar.

Lovely restaurant on the water. I’ve been coming here for years with my family. Its the perfect place to celebrate a birthday which is why we went today. Highly recommend!

Service and food were wonderful! Ariel was kind, courteous, and professional. Despite being a warm day outside, fans made the environment more comfortable on the back patio.

The service was very slow. We sat for almost 10 minutes before our server came over, we never got our water refilled, my salad arrived without any dressing and it took several minutes to get it, and we were charged $3 for my child’s soda that was supposed to come with a kid’s meal. The prices seemed reasonable until we got our food, then we realized it wasn’t worth the cost we paid. The atmosphere was okay, but if you are seated inside on the first level, you don’t have much of a view.

We should have just left after the 3rd we are out of that as well. No chowder, No flounder, No shrimp cocktail…. We decided to try it any way. The food we ordered had absolutely no seasoning. Overall poor experience.

Food was excellent, view is great. Our server was a bit slow and the group seated next to us was very loud; of course that’s not the fault of the restaurant. I would certainly recommend it.

Madigan’s Waterfront was a great experience all around. I chose to go here for the first time to celebrate my birthday with my girlfriend. It was the perfect balance between fancy and affordable. The environment was amazing and the service was attentive but not excessive. We sat outside and had a great view of the water and took 10 steps to go down to the Marina after we were finished eating. It was great! Will come again many more times!
