Please note our Afternoon Tea is served Wednesday - Sunday from 13:00 - 16:30 and we ask you to pre-book to avoid disappointment.

Madeleine follows the tradition of grand hotels with luxurious cocktail bars: its double-height windows, sparkling chandeliers, and rich soft furnishings make it at once super-glamorous and utterly enticing.

We think that once you are sat at your table, sipping a cocktail or a glass of Champagne, you won’t want to leave – and who can blame you? We welcome you to enjoy some light French inspired snacks whilst with us, or why not indulge fully in our impressive Afternoon Tea, handcrafted by Head Pastry Chef, Roger Lomas, and his innovative team.

Our hope is to establish Madeleine as somewhere that’s exclusively for everyone, a glamorous setting that’s perfect for special occasions, celebrations, and treats but equally somewhere you can drop by on the spur of the moment (subject to availability, of course).

A truly unforgettable treat for your senses. The menu, created by Head Pastry Chef Mustapha Rahimi, takes quintessentially British flavours and delivers them through classic French patisserie techniques. Lovely setting and atmosphere Afternoon tea was nice but it should be for the price really Sadly we felt the service was at best mediocre for such a fine establishment , which left us feeling a little disappointed

Whilst reserving afternoon tea I had paid as it was through the hotel. After we had finished our afternoon tea I wasn’t told I still needed to pay as I had assumed I had already made the payment whilst making the reservation. As we were walking out, we were chased by the waiter saying we hadn’t paid, this was extremely embarrassing as we had made this reservation for our birthdays. Unfortunately it was not made clear at all and spoilt the entire experience. I do not think I will be returning to the hotel again.

Dear Raj, I am sorry that you left us feeling embarrassed but the waiter did his job in stopping you from leaving without payment.
