The Cavallino Family welcomes you to experience their newest addition to their family of restaurants, "Made in Italy Trattoria". Our family has been in the restaurant business spanning decades and numerous generations. More recently, the Cavallino's are the former owners of "Enzo & Lucia's" in Long Grove, IL. As our family continues to grow and expand into new suburbs, so does our network of family restaurants.

"Made in Italy Trattoria" is located in Glen Ellyn, IL. Our Italian style restaurant provides a romantic and quaint atmosphere while offering a menu made of authentic Italian family recipes prepared by actual Italians. We invite you to come and experience great Italian food which our family has perfected through decades of experience.

If you are interested in our catering, we have catering menus available in the restaurant. Any and all of the dishes that we serve are available for catering upon request even though they may not all be listed in detail on our catering menu. If you are planning on placing a catering order, please call no later than two days before pickup date. We are able to cater some of our daily specials as well, if you are interested in catering a specific special that we carry, please call for availability of that item for they are subject to change frequently. "DATE NIGHT" AT ANY NICE RESTAURANT CAN COST BETWEEN $150-$250 FOR TWO PEOPLE WHEN ORDERING APPS, BOTTLE WINE, TWO ENTREES AND A DESSERT. THATS HARD TO AFFORD EVERY WEEK! NOT ANYMORE! What a wonderful way to spend Christmas Eve locally. Thank you for your great service to all of us who ventured out tonight. Food and Service were great despite being crowded and busy. Thank you again for being open and able to make memories.

A family owned restaurant that has things working to perfection. Delicious Italian food. Lively relaxed atmosphere. Tables are tight but we could hear each other with the place full. Excellent, friendly service and great value. We will be returning.

Food and service were very good. But a $20.00 vodka sauce pasta dish keeps me from not coming more often. But good otherwise…

We had a lovely dinner there with excellent food (the octopus was our favorite!) and the atmosphere was the cozy we needed for a date night in the col, icy winter.

Initial service encounter was terrible. Food is delicious if you can look past sub-par experience. Booked in advanced for a family party of 5. We were celebrating and anniversary and birthday. Immediately upon entering we’re greeted with a very unfriendly man. This tore down the experience of enjoying the great environment and food. It was an uphill battle but food was filling, delicious and our tanker attendant tried to improve the initial experience. Thank you for attempting to improve experience but was absolutely too late.
