Welcome to Madame Fortune's Dessert +HiFi Parlour nestled in the heart of Tampa located in Historic Ybor City. Hidden in a secret passage of Roast Deli+Bakery, Madame Fortune's transports you to an intimate and charming dining experience. Named after an unsung pioneer of Tampa, Madame Fortune pays homage to the past with delectable food and classic cocktails. The cuisine has strong southern and West Indian influences and the cocktails will leave your palate bursting with citrus notes. Serving dinner and brunch (weekends) Madame Fortune is ideal for private events, birthdays, business meetings, girls night out or date night. For parties larger than 4 there is a two card maximum, we are 21 and up establishment, and there is a 20% gratuity added to all parties. We look forward to you dining with us soon!

The restaurant was difficult to find and the menu was not very robust. There was only one other couple in the restaurant and it took a very long time to get our food. Having said that, the restaurant was very cute, the server was attentive and the food was delicious.

The menu changed, I was unaware of it until I was seated. I had to tell the waiter I was ready for second round of unlimited mimosas! Which was annoying!! They had a musician during brunch which sounded amazing just too Loud!!!

Our waiter and the manager were absolutely amazing. However, my wife and I waited over an hour for our meals in which we sat in a dinning area with no AC. Big kudos to Cheyenne and the Manager Alexis for still making the experience helpful despite our discontent. 🙏🏽

Unfortunately, this time around my experience was not great at all. The menu options have changed, but yet it’s the same menu they bring to your table. They tell you that there’s no more lobster and they just add more shrimp and crab meat but the menu clearly states lobster. The oxtail with hummus is now just oxtail nachos, which is very strange because they add guacamole and ranch dressing on top of it . When I asked for adjustments to be made, they still did not make it and the food was just subpar. I came back because I love the menu and the ambience and the only thing that we got from. It was good drinks and nice vibes, but the food was not good.

The food was great! The service was mediocre. The waiter was very sarcastic and not attentive. I would like to go back for the food, but I hate paying auto-gratuity for mediocre service.

Food was delicious and so flavorful!!! Portions was a nice size and the price wasn’t too bad. Decor and ambiance were lovely. The waiters were very nice and service was great! Went to make the date official and they helped me execute it beautifully!!!!! Was a lovely evening!!! We will definitely be back!!!

We really wanted to enjoy the experience at this place because it looks really fun and new. The atmosphere was great as we walked to our table. (There was live music and the place was busy but not too busy). We were seated immediately however the waitress took over 10 mins to greet us. We waited over 20 mins for water to be served and then never had it refilled even after requesting for more. We were offered a table side sangria experience however the drinks came out without the table side experience. We were then told that there was no table side service tonight and that we would be charged $13 each per cup instead of the $20 charge for the table side experience. The waitress then kept forgetting our order throughout the service and asked us 4 to 5 times to confirm our order. Beignets we ordered never came out. We ended up asking for the check because it tool so long and were still charged for them. The waitress said they would be coming out “any second now” however this is the third time she said this. We checked the receipt and no beignets were on the order so im not sure that the kitchen ever got told to make them! Food and cocktails were just okay. Unfortunately, due to poor service we don’t plan on visiting again any time soon. We were obligated to pay 20% service charge despite the awful waitressing service.

To start off the place was beautiful. The vibe was nice, low lighting, good music. I went with friends, however feels like a perfect place for a date night. Our food was exceptional when we did receive it. However, service was very slow, we ordered 2 starters, our appetizers took about 20 minutes to come out and came out separately (10 min apart) we didn’t order our entrées until 15 minutes after we were finished eating our appetizers our waiter dropped the ball on us by leaving us unattended multiple times and was also forgetful about things we asked for. We were also not told that there would be a 20% gratuity added automatically. Our waiter eventually became more attentive once we received our entrée, but it was too late. We loved his personality but not his performance. To be honest I ALWAYS tip but would NOT have tipped my waiter $30 for the poor service. To put things in perspective we came at 7:30pm and left at 11pm. Thank God for good company and no where else to be.

The hostess was not friendly and she grabbed dirty wine glasses that still had lip marks on them. The sweet potato cornbread was good but one slice looked like it had been returned. My lamb chop meal was room temp not hot at all. Also the chairs are dirty. They should be shampooed every night. The place is going down hill in my opinion.
