Welcome to Madame Fortune's Dessert +HiFi Parlour nestled in the heart of Tampa located in Historic Ybor City. Hidden in a secret passage of Roast Deli+Bakery, Madame Fortune's transports you to an intimate and charming dining experience. Named after an unsung pioneer of Tampa, Madame Fortune pays homage to the past with delectable food and classic cocktails. The cuisine has strong southern and West Indian influences and the cocktails will leave your palate bursting with citrus notes. Serving dinner and brunch (weekends) Madame Fortune is ideal for private events, birthdays, business meetings, girls night out or date night. For parties larger than 4 there is a two card maximum, we are 21 and up establishment, and there is a 20% gratuity added to all parties. We look forward to you dining with us soon!

From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave you’re experiencing a laid back but sophisticated vibe. The service was great,(Thank you Tim) the ambience was great and the food was amazing! Don’t sleep on this spot, but also don’t tell everyone because I want to be able to get a table again in the future!! Thank you for a great evening.

This was a wonderful little speakeasy. The bartender was very friendly. The drinks that I had were amazing. Definitely recommend the mussels and the sweet potato cornbread. Great environment and ambience.

3.5 stars. This is a very cute spot with lots of potential. I agree with another user that with a few small improvements it could easily be 4+ stars. Good: Food was solid. We ordered the oxtail nachos, Oxtail pepperpot and the lobster fried rice. Everything arrived timely and hot. The only miss was the rice with the rice and peas was a little dry and hard. Totally fine when mixed with the oxtails. Drinks were solid after sending one back as it was served warm. A quick shake in the shaker and it was perfect. They even added an extra shot for the inconvenience. Solid. 4 stars Live entertainment was good. Created a fun vibe in the restaurant. 4 stars Misses/Opportunities: The server and hostess need to align on the 2-hr table max. Our server was in no rush to get our drink order so we waited about 20-30 minutes for our drinks and appetizer. The issue was the hostess very politely came out to tell us that our table was reserved for someone else. While they hadn’t arrived yet, essentially we needed to move on. We were at 2hr 15 min mark. In my opinion, she should’ve coordinated managing our time with the server. We were still there because the server was slow to get our drinks. This miss just put a slight damper on our experience. While polite, it just seemed a little distasteful. Service 3 stars. Overall good job and we would go again. Tighten up the communication and service and it’s easily 4+. I look forward to another visit.

We waited over a 1hr for the food I ordered Lamb Chops and after 40 mins the waiter told me they ran out.

From checking in with the “cashier” to the very end, the staff was fun and friendly and welcoming. My guest had never been to Tampa or had the cultural experience that Madame Fortune offers and Derrick (our server) was helpful and gracious throughout our service.
