Le Sanderson vous invite à vous laisser tomber dans le terrier du lapin pour le 150ème anniversaire d'Alice au Pays des Merveilles et à découvrir la splendeur du thé du chapelier fou, le Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea. Vous découvrirez des menus cachés dans des livres anciens, des théières ornées de rois et de reines, des assiettes à sandwich décorées de volières, de carrousels et d'horloges sur lesquelles vous attendent des sandwiches spéciaux salés. La fin est aussi délicieuse que le début. Les scones sont à se damner, le gâteau-coccinelle de velours rouge vous inspirera des larmes de joie culinaire et le temps s'arrêtera lorsque vous dégusterez les macarons au café et enrobés de chocolat en forme de montre de poche. L'attraction vedette, cependant, est la collection de thés Sanderson exclusifs. À l'occasion du 150ème anniversaire du roman de Lewis Carroll, le Sanderson a le plaisir de vous présenter 5 nouveaux thés élaborés sur mesure, inspirés par les personnages de cette histoire tant appréciée. All of the food lovely. Often with an afternoon tea one of the parts is disappointing but not with this one. Service friendly, and attentive without being smothering and very polite. Don’t be put off by the outside of the building - inside is lovely. Just excellent. Would recommend.

It was an enchanting experience! The waitstaff were wonderful and attentive. They even brought me out a Birthday cake with a candle.

We were sat in a bar area which was very warm. None of the special touches of the tea were explained properly (we didn’t know that one of the drinks changed colour, we didn’t get the little music box that other tables had) we were basically plonked in a corner, served our food and left to it. We weren’t offered any refills on tea, sandwiches etc. when the bill came - £95 inc service charge. Most of our food was untouched as it was shocking, and this looked similar for many tables around us. I’d choose another option elsewhere next time.

Really friendly staff, they couldn’t have done enough to help us and make sure we had a lovely time. Food was fantastic and tea was delicious. Really recommend.

Great themed afternoon tea. Great flavour teas, amazing cakes, unlimited savoury (always a game changer) and really attentive and friendly staff. Really nice unhurried time

Paid £130 on the website for afternoon tea. Got charged £200 on the day by the staff and wasnt allowed to leave until i payed.

Dear Jayda, We do not take any pre-payment during reservation. You may have also noticed that there was no deduction from your account of £130 whilst making the reservation. This is because we only require a credit card to guarantee the reservation. No money is deducted from the account unless there is a no-show on the day. All our guests settle the final bill on the day after their visit. Although, our team tried to explain this to you on the day, please rest assured it was not our intention to make you feel disingenuous. We operate our business with the utmost integrity to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience with us. Our sincere apology for any discontent caused on this occasion. Thank you very much.
