Le Sanderson vous invite à vous laisser tomber dans le terrier du lapin pour le 150ème anniversaire d'Alice au Pays des Merveilles et à découvrir la splendeur du thé du chapelier fou, le Mad Hatter's Afternoon Tea. Vous découvrirez des menus cachés dans des livres anciens, des théières ornées de rois et de reines, des assiettes à sandwich décorées de volières, de carrousels et d'horloges sur lesquelles vous attendent des sandwiches spéciaux salés. La fin est aussi délicieuse que le début. Les scones sont à se damner, le gâteau-coccinelle de velours rouge vous inspirera des larmes de joie culinaire et le temps s'arrêtera lorsque vous dégusterez les macarons au café et enrobés de chocolat en forme de montre de poche. L'attraction vedette, cependant, est la collection de thés Sanderson exclusifs. The waiters were friendly, helpful and attending to my every need. Food was exceptional which is particularly difficult in my case as I'm gluten-free and vegan but everything was delicious.

Very cool, curated offerings based on Alice and Wonderland; however, the price is quite high and the ambiance doesn’t extend past the plates and menu.

Do not recommend - there are better options for the money. Ambiance - We were seated on the patio but not quite covered by the heat lamps, so wore our coats the whole time. The decoration consisted of large playing cards set in planters and a big cardboard clock in the corner reminiscent of some dollar store finds. Food - The selection of specialty tea blends was good. However the food itself was pretty to look at but uninspired. The chicken sandwich was very oniony. The tziziki sandwich was boring. Many of the pastries had a jelly like consistency. My kid didn't even want to take the chocolate toppers home or finish the cotton candy that "wasn't fluffy". Service - the hostess seated us promptly, and offered to take a photo when our high tea came out which was kind. However, she didn't check on us after that for a long time, and we had to ask the bus boy for fresh tea.

Great venue out in courtyard. Tea was very good and Mad Hatter themed. They were very supportive of gluten free / dairy feee choices. They had run out of Verve Clicquot but replaced with another champagne lower level which was fine. You can have limitless sandwiches which was great. Staff were a little overwhelmed and very busy but were friendly and responsive when asked.

Very expensive for just a basic afternoon tea - sandwiches pretty boring and dry - cakes not very inspiring/ scones dry. shame! There are better options across London

We loved it. The food and range of tea was amazing, a real treat of an experience, different from your average afternoon tea. The friendly staff also went above and beyond to make it a memorable experience. We also loved the theme, with Alice in Wonderland tea pots and plates. Highly recommend.
