Welcome to Mad Frans right here in the heart of Leeds.

We are a Bar, Kitchen & Venue serving quality food with fresh local ingredients along with an extensive drinks selection, including a varied cocktail menu.
Weekdays are busy with business lunches and after work drinks.
Saturdays is bottomless day, one of our busiest days here at Frans- bottomless not your thing? Your welcome to pop in for quality food and drink without the bottomless option and booking is highly recommended,
Sunday is roast day, a firm favourite with our plethora of customers and you only need to check out our reviews. Think sirloin of beef cooked to perfection with all the trimmings and extra jugs of gravy- you really would be MAD not too!!!
We also specialise in the hire of the venue for all types of events, parties and celebrations, get in touch for availability and pricing.

The third bottomless I’ve been to at Mad Frans Always so attentive with the drinks , great choice and the food is always amazing I would highly recommend

Second time having the bottomless brunch here but it wasn’t nearly as good as the first. Lack of lagers to choose from and food menu was restrictive. No tonic, no tomato juice… That said the service was good.

Tried Mad Frans for the first time yesterday after my friend had recommended it after reading the reviews. We were greeted warmly and seated straight away. There were only two other tables occupied so very quiet… Our order was taken in good time and the starters served promptly. They also made my friends starter a gluten free version of the mushrooms on toast which was nicely presented but to me was a little bland… We both ordered the roast beef dinner which unfortunately was really disappointing. The plates were cold which an absolute no no for first thing I do is feel the side of the plate when I’m served… we started eating and I noticed my meat was not hot at all. My friend also said hers was cold. We mentioned it to the server who apologised and promptly took everything away. They cooked everything from scratch for us which we really appreciated. The plates were nice and hot , as was the meat this time but overall we were slightly disappointed with the meal. The roast potatoes were really dry and stuck to the roof of my mouth. The stuffing was basic packet mix, dry and very unappealing. There wasn’t much veg and although the cauliflower cheese was quite tasty , the stems were really hard. It’s all down to person preference but although the server was very pleasant and apologetic, sadly I won’t be returning here apart from maybe for a drink with friends.

Food was lovely and hot we had Sunday Lunch . Everything was well cooked and presented well . The waiter was very pleasant. The restaurant was very quite but didn't detract from the exprience.The crumble to die for.
