The Parlour Tea Room at Mad Dogs and Englishmen provides a vintage setting to enjoy Afternoon tea. We’ve become renowned for our themed teas which offer an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the eclectic surroundings of this unique venue.
The Botanical Rooms is upstairs and hosts our cocktail bar. Here you can experience Afternoon Tea from Wednesday to Sunday during the day and enjoy the fairy-lit bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. We host live Jazz and soul on some evenings.
The Piano Lounge with it's vintage leather sofas and a mixture of eclectic styled furnishings is situated on the ground floor alongside our Whisky Bar. You can enjoy an Afternoon Tea with Piano accompaniment on Sunday afternoons or sample some of our extensive Whisky cocktails on Friday and Saturday evenings. We have live Jazz performances on selected evenings.

This experience in our beautiful Botanical rooms will celebrate your favourite characters from the book. More than the mere Bare Necessities this Afternoon Tea will be a feast for your eyes and taste buds. You better believe it!! Menu on website Weekdays £45.00pp plus service charge. An amazing afternoon tea as always! Can’t believe how in depth the venue and decorations and food is, truly a special afternoon tea there is no where else like it! Worth every penny, all the staff are super friendly and attentive whilst also giving you space to enjoy your tea in peace! Couldn’t recommend more!

As always a lovely experience at Mad dogs and Englishman However we had this booked for ages and was disappointed to be put on a table in front of the kitchen. We felt constantly in the way, constantly getting knocked into by staff passing, it did take away from the experience and at £50 per person I think we deserved better consideration. Seemed like they squeezed as many tables in as possible to make money rather than the quality of the experience. It was two special birthdays and just fell a bit flat to be honest.

Great experience and wonderful service. We had a lovely time - so stuffed we had to retire for a nap afterwards! Highly recommended.

Wow, we absolutely loved the wizard of world that was created. Such fantastic detail down to the servers wearing hogwarts school uniform. Wonderful experience, thank you!

I celebrated my birthday yesterday at Mad Dogs and Englishmen with eight of the women who hold up my sky with a Jungle Book afternoon tea. It was amazing. Every single thing about the experience was just incredible - from the cocktails served in extravagant glasses to the tasty fresh sandwiches - the to die for warm scones and then the most extravagant jungle platter of delicious cakes (which we photographed before bringing them away with us because we were just stuffed!) The decor was mind blowing - the staff were discreet and yet at the same time couldn’t do enough to help. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And see you all again soon ❤️

It was our first time at the Mad dogs & Englishmen, and we wasn't disappointed. Great theme, Wizards & Witches, the decor was amazing. The staff were very friendly and very tentative. Food was lovely, and plentiful. We had themed cocktails to add to the experience. Will definitely return for another theme in the future
