The Parlour Tea Room at Mad Dogs and Englishmen provides a vintage setting to enjoy Afternoon tea. We’ve become renowned for our themed teas which offer an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the eclectic surroundings of this unique venue.
The Botanical Rooms is upstairs and hosts our cocktail bar. Here you can experience Afternoon Tea from Wednesday to Sunday during the day and enjoy the fairy-lit bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. We host live Jazz and soul on some evenings.
The Piano Lounge with it's vintage leather sofas and a mixture of eclectic styled furnishings is situated on the ground floor alongside our Whisky Bar. You can enjoy an Afternoon Tea with Piano accompaniment on Sunday afternoons or sample some of our extensive Whisky cocktails on Friday and Saturday evenings. We have live Jazz performances on selected evenings.

Amazing under the sea themed afternoon tea experience. Lovely venue, attentive staff, beautiful decor & attention to detail. Food was great too. My sister, whose birthday we were celebrating said it was her favorite afternoon tea yet! Thanks for a lovely afternoon, well worth the trip from London.

It was an absolutely incredible experience!!! The decor was outstanding and the food was lovely. The atmosphere was amazing and we had the best time. The staff were lovely and very attentive.

What a great place for afternoon tea, our first visit here and it won’t be our last. The venue was decorated beautifully the music was just the right level as it gave a lovely ambiance and we could still talk and hear each other. The waitress was very attentive always checking we had everything. The food was really good and tasty and very fresh we enjoyed everything and tried all the themed cocktails. A very pleasant afternoon

We’ve enjoyed several themed afternoon tea’s, but the food for Here we go again was exceptional!

We had the "Here We Go Again" afternoon tea. The decoration of the tea room was amazing, so atmospheric and created a good impression immediately. The waiting staff were very good and attentive. The menu hit the right balance with imagination and a mix of appropriate Greek savouries and lovely sweet options. Cocktail menu, again first class. The only downside for us was it was a little rushed with a 1.45 minute booking to allow the restaurant to turn the tables around between sittings. But highly recommended nontheless. It was a special occasion and this was marked with a candle in the cakes at the end.

The decorations were amazing, the service was excellent our lovely Emily was so attentive. The food was fab but too much to eat all in one go but they gave us pretty boxes so that we could bring our extras home. A truly wonderful place for a special occasion or anytime really. I will definitely go again for another themed afternoon tea.
