The Parlour Tea Room at Mad Dogs and Englishmen provides a vintage setting to enjoy Afternoon tea. We’ve become renowned for our themed teas which offer an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the eclectic surroundings of this unique venue.
The Botanical Rooms is upstairs and hosts our cocktail bar. Here you can experience Afternoon Tea from Wednesday to Sunday during the day and enjoy the fairy-lit bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. We host live Jazz and soul on some evenings.
The Piano Lounge with it's vintage leather sofas and a mixture of eclectic styled furnishings is situated on the ground floor alongside our Whisky Bar. You can enjoy an Afternoon Tea with Piano accompaniment on Sunday afternoons or sample some of our extensive Whisky cocktails on Friday and Saturday evenings. We have live Jazz performances on selected evenings.

Everything was fantastic from the moment we arrived. Every effort is made to ensure everyone enjoys the entire experience from start to finish. So much care attention and detail has been put into the decor, the staff and service were both impeccable And the food absolutely delicious. Thank you to everyone involved in making our visit so fabulous.

My daughter wanted to attend the Jungle Book themed Afternoon Tea. We visited as a family of four and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The service was excellent and the staff were so friendly. The food was amazing and the decor in the tea room made the atmosphere feel very cosy. We loved it! Would highly recommend!

Another great afternoon spent at the little mermaid afternoon tea! We went for my sisters birthday and had a great time. Service was perfect as usual, the staff there are always so friendly and attentive. The atmosphere and decoration was amazing and the food was lovely, anything we were unable to finish we were able to take home too, definitely worth the money. We will be back again!

Always a great experience and the team are so lovely. We had an allergy sufferer in the party and the team did amazingly to cater for her aswell. Made her birthday very enjoyable

I brought my friend here as a little intimate hen do celebration for her. We were in awe of how beautiful everything was, every little detail has been thought of, the effort that goes into making just the rooms on theme is incredible, let alone the extra touches like staff in themed uniform, design of menu's and overall atmosphere. The staff were so lovely, super friendly & welcoming. We had the VIP table which is such a nice option to make it that bit more special. The only reason I have given 4 stars for food and value is just that we felt the balance between savoury and sweet was a bit off. We loved the savoury food, we just felt there needed to be more of it. We had 3 finger sandwiches each, which when you put into perspective is 1 regular sandwich each. We had a couple of the fish fingers & probably about 5 curly fries each, and a very tiny plate of couscous and a miniature cheese savoury muffin. Whilst it was all delicious we definitely personally would have enjoyed a little more. The sweet options however were absolutely incredible, the best scone I've ever eaten in my life and certainly enough of those, with the attention to detail on the other big plate of sweet items being absolutely meticulous. 10/10 for presentation and taste with those. I appreciate you can do more with the theme with sweet things which is probably why there's more of that than the savoury. If you have a sweet tooth you will be in your element. Overall our day here was perfect & I'm so glad I brought my friend here, will definitely be returning for other themes in the future, thank you so much.

I've tried just about every afternoon tea experience, but nothing compares to Mad Dogs and Englishman. It's become a special treat for me and my closest friends. I adore everything about that tea room, and no other afternoon tea can top it. 🥰
