The Parlour Tea Room at Mad Dogs and Englishmen provides a vintage setting to enjoy Afternoon tea. We’ve become renowned for our themed teas which offer an unforgettable experience. Enjoy the eclectic surroundings of this unique venue.
The Botanical Rooms is upstairs and hosts our cocktail bar. Here you can experience Afternoon Tea from Wednesday to Sunday during the day and enjoy the fairy-lit bar on Friday and Saturday evenings. We host live Jazz and soul on some evenings.
The Piano Lounge with it's vintage leather sofas and a mixture of eclectic styled furnishings is situated on the ground floor alongside our Whisky Bar. You can enjoy an Afternoon Tea with Piano accompaniment on Sunday afternoons or sample some of our extensive Whisky cocktails on Friday and Saturday evenings. We have live Jazz performances on selected evenings.

    Wow, we absolutely loved the wizard of world that was created. Such fantastic detail down to the servers wearing hogwarts school uniform. Wonderful experience, thank you!

    I celebrated my birthday yesterday at Mad Dogs and Englishmen with eight of the women who hold up my sky with a Jungle Book afternoon tea. It was amazing. Every single thing about the experience was just incredible - from the cocktails served in extravagant glasses to the tasty fresh sandwiches - the to die for warm scones and then the most extravagant jungle platter of delicious cakes (which we photographed before bringing them away with us because we were just stuffed!) The decor was mind blowing - the staff were discreet and yet at the same time couldn’t do enough to help. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. And see you all again soon ❤️

    It was our first time at the Mad dogs & Englishmen, and we wasn't disappointed. Great theme, Wizards & Witches, the decor was amazing. The staff were very friendly and very tentative. Food was lovely, and plentiful. We had themed cocktails to add to the experience. Will definitely return for another theme in the future

    This was our first time going to Mad Dogs & Englishmen , we went to experinece the "Wizarding World" Afternoon Tea. We loved this afternoon tea, the atmosphere was so welcoming and fun with Harry Potter inspired decor everywhere and background music to match. The food was great with nut free menus available that had soup, sandwiches and a mini salads, as well as the deserts which were delicious and you could take some home so nothing is wasted. The staff were very friendly and chatty, there was also a fun little "potions" experiment to try out while we waited for our food. Would recommend to anyone looking for a fun afternoon tea, we'll definately be going back in the future to expereince the other themed teas :)

    Our trip to Mad Dog and Englishman was by far the best experience. The venue is incredible, the food amazing. The service from the staff was friendly and accommodating. The visit is well worth the money. We will definitely be returning with the rest of our family. We would highly recommend this experience. It is such good value for money and certainly an amazing find, so close to home. This experience wouldn't feel out of place in London. Don't miss out, go. We look forward to visiting again and seeing different themes.
