In the heart of Marietta Square, Mac's Chophouse is a modern-vintage revival of the classic American steakhouse. Our menu highlights a thoughtful approach to locally-sourced ingredients and hearty, flavor-rich cuisine. We distinctly pair choice cuts of USDA Prime steak, sustainable seafood, and decadent desserts with a highly-curated bar program of craft cocktails, premium reserve wines, and an extensive bourbon selection.                   The food and ambiance was amazing. MAC’s is second to none for OTP dining. You feel like you stepped into a New York City restaurant. Can’t wait to come back!

                  Unfortunately Mac’s has really gone downhill the last few visits. Even with a reservation last night (and five staff huddled around the hostess stand ignoring us), our only options were outdoors or wait a half hour. Having a concert to get to, we opted for outside. After about 10 minutes of no wait staff coming to the table, we just left. Service (or lack thereof) are quickly becoming their downfall.

                  Time and time again we are amazed by the MAC’s staff, service and quality. Truly our favorite.

                  Another great meal at Mac's. Birthday dinner with friends, 5 total. Appetizers: huge crab cake with a slight pineapple salsa (?) (full of lump crab meat- terrific); pimento fritters with bacon jam, very tasty, gooey, crisp outside, just what you'd expect; and beef wellington medallions, delicious and not something you find in any other place in Atlanta. Cocktails: gimlets, G&T, and wine (California Pinot Noir and French Chardonnay, very large selection by the glass and extensive list). Nicely done. For dinner two of us had filet mignon, one had dinner special grouper with "lobster crust", big chucks of lobster and a very nice sauce (wish I had ordered that); someone had scallops; and the birthday girl had pistachio crusted sea bass. All the ladies had to take some of their meals home, good size portions. Creme brulee dessert. Outstanding food, everyone more than happy. Service was special, friendly, prompt, always someone to attend to our needs but never intrusive. Chef/Owner Mike Fuller always has some nice changes on the menu. We don't live close by, but make the drive because this is a special place.

                  We celebrated a wedding anniversary and enjoyed the food, service and ambiance. The pimento cheese fritters, french onion soup, salad with apples, filet minion and snapper with prawns were all delicious. They even treated us to a yummy almond flour brownie topped with cherry gelato. The service was top notch, as well. We will definitely return and are already looking forward to our next celebratory dinner!

                  My fiancé and I were looking for the perfect restaurant to take our parents so they could meet before the wedding. Mac's Chophouse was a hit! Our steaks and fish were delicious - the mushroom side was so good. The drinks were fabulous - they actually have blue cheese stuffed olives if you are a dirty martini fan. Our server, Didier, was amazing. He was conversational and informative and overall just a fantastic addition to our night! I'm so glad we chose Mac's for our dinner, it was perfect. Everyone was satisfied and had a great time!

                  Everything was wonderful with the exception of the delay in getting our food. Apparently, a very large party had come in before us. Our waiter was EXCELLENT and made up for it with free desserts.
