The food was really good even though at first i was put off by the plastic looking bar food menu. The service was great and i had a very good plate of salmon recommend it!

Fantastic! The smoked bacon chop was so delicious! The service was perfect, very attentive. And the atmosphere was beautiful.

Delicious and unique menu in a lovely setting and very convenient if you are staying at The Hardiman. Friendly and attentive staff.

Service here was so slow. It wasn't even busy at the time. My husband had sea food chowder for starters. I had soup. The soup was put in front of me, but no spoon. Thinking she was coming back I waited a minute or two, but then had to go up to the bar to ask for one. Then realised I wasn't given the soda bread that was to go with it. Again had to go to bar and ask for it. Meanwhile my soup going cold. A fair wait for starter dishes to be cleared, then an even longer wait for the mains. Slowest service I have ever experienced. Never again would it I eat here!

Dreadful service. Bar man talking too much to bother with customers. He didn't even know where tables were and didn't bother giving us menus. Had booked a low table but he put us in a high one. Long wait for food which was cold on arrival. Bar man once again didn't bother giving us dessert menus so after another wait we just left. Would not return due to the dreadful service.

we made a reservation for this restaurant while visiting galway city and on arrival we were sent between 3 different locations by staff to be told they could not understand how we made this reservation as they were about to close and that reservations had closed that morning. we were very disappointed with this service
