BYOB French restaurant with a unique blend of Southern-inspired cuisine and bistro classics: think Confit Fried Chicken and Waffle, and Steak au Poivre. The ambiance is cozy and inviting, with antique mirrors lining the walls, candlelight, and warm and friendly service. We have seasonal outdoor seating along a lovely alleyway with potted blooms and bird serenades.

Located on historic Antique Row, this charming spot is a great place to meet for a special occasion, date-night, business meal, or a casual dinner with friends. Mabu is our “go to” restaurant. Grace and her staff do a fantastic job. Our waiter, Ryan, is very friendly and personable yet equally professional. Every item on the menu is absolutely delicious. Mabu is a gem of a restaurant that feels like home.

Super intimate setting serving up some delectable French dishes with a sprinkle of southern flare. Was fortunate enough to dine on a night where they had some live music (think super smooth jazz). Our server, Sam, was wonderful! Get the brick chicken—you won’t be disappointed!!

Fantastic service and delicious food. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts appetizer. Server was attentive but no hovering. We sat outside so cannot speak for inside…. Chairs and table setup could have been more comfortable but they did what they could with limited space and the food more than made up for that.

We sat outside at a lovely table on a quiet side street. The food was amazing. And we had an excellent server who did not rush us and allowed us to enjoy the delicious food and beautiful night.

This is our fave restaurant in Philly. Everything is delicious from salads, to entrees to dessert! Go tos are the smash burger, confit fried chicken and waffle, roasted brick chicken and the beef bourguignon is out of this world And brunch is amazing also!! Charming ambiance and lovely service!!!!
