This was by far one of the top FTL/SoFlo dining experiences I have had. To start, the architecture is beautiful and the staff at the front are so kind and welcoming. I love the open kitchen set up because you get to see how everything and everyone interacts and see the chefs in action. My friend and I did the “Let us cook for you” meal. This is $98 per person and I think definitely the best bang for your buck. The first four courses were phenomenal. The toasted butter bun provided for the mini lobster rolls was toasted perfect with the right amount of butter. The seasoning on the truffle popcorn was able to go with all the appetizers, let alone the popcorn. The scallop dish was by far my favorite dish. They were cooked to perfection, almost like slicing into butter. The 72 hr short rib was tender that paired tastefully with the sauce. But what really amazed me was the whipped potato side dish. This was the smoothest, most cleanest mashed potato dish I have ever had. Not a single lump or inconsistency was found and it was evenly pureed and whipped so well. The raspberry mochi taco was the most interesting, the “taco shell” mochi skin was very rich in flavor but the filling was good. The pineapple upside down cake was more like a tart, but nonetheless, was a great ending to the meal, especially with the ice cream that had a hint of coconut. I will definitely be coming back here!
