This is my 2nd time to be at Maass in 2 weeks .. the first one was on a Thursday night for my bday - food is excellent as well as the service- people were very nice and friendly and very attentive!! But when I came back 2 weeks later on a Friday night - service was very poor and I was very disappointed. Took my friends with me because of my previous experience but didn’t quite get the same results. Food was good but took so long to serve. Asked for ice for our water but took 20-30 min to arrive. More or less, service isn’t consistent.

I guess I was expecting a little more from the food. My son got the $75 menu which it was OK. He got the pear salad (2) they need it little more seasoning and the pear could be a little more sweet for my taste. We got the macarons that was OK, the short rib was not great it was average , for dessert he enjoyed it was the mochi taco, the ice cream. We order the Seabass, which was overcooked, scallops for four little scallops to $$$. We order the lobster rolls small but good, overall I think the food is missing the “it”factor. I was looking forward to the dinner especially with a Michelin star chef.

This was by far one of the top FTL/SoFlo dining experiences I have had. To start, the architecture is beautiful and the staff at the front are so kind and welcoming. I love the open kitchen set up because you get to see how everything and everyone interacts and see the chefs in action. My friend and I did the “Let us cook for you” meal. This is $98 per person and I think definitely the best bang for your buck. The first four courses were phenomenal. The toasted butter bun provided for the mini lobster rolls was toasted perfect with the right amount of butter. The seasoning on the truffle popcorn was able to go with all the appetizers, let alone the popcorn. The scallop dish was by far my favorite dish. They were cooked to perfection, almost like slicing into butter. The 72 hr short rib was tender that paired tastefully with the sauce. But what really amazed me was the whipped potato side dish. This was the smoothest, most cleanest mashed potato dish I have ever had. Not a single lump or inconsistency was found and it was evenly pureed and whipped so well. The raspberry mochi taco was the most interesting, the “taco shell” mochi skin was very rich in flavor but the filling was good. The pineapple upside down cake was more like a tart, but nonetheless, was a great ending to the meal, especially with the ice cream that had a hint of coconut. I will definitely be coming back here!

Can’t say enough how amazing the experience was. They hit on every personal touch from a birthday sign for my husband to a cute dessert for our baby moon (including treats for our dog!) The service and food were nothing but impeccable. Probably one of the best meals we’ve had. Extremely impressed and worth every penny!

Excellent overall experience. I loved everything about our visit. A perfect birthday treat. The food is delicious, service very attentive, ambiance gorgeous. I look forward to dining there. A great addition to Broward County.

We were warmly greeted by the staff at the entrance, and there was a note wishing us happy anniversary at the table. Our waitress Sarah was fabulous. Overall had a great experience with delicious and fun food options. Will definitely be returning!
