Welcome to india’s hidden kitchen..
Coming Fresh new flavours and an odyssey into coastal cuisine await. For the first time, Ma-He’ has united the unexplored cuisines of five of India’s coastline regions: with signature small-plates and sharing platters from Kerala, Goa, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh. We want to take you on a journey, to share our passion with you, and to show you the cuisine of our homes. To make the menu more exciting, we have also added some signature North Indian dishes to our menu. Our curries are made with fresh, natural ingredients sourced from India’s coastal region and generally paired with staples such as rice, appams and dosas. We are excited to invite you on a unique culinary journey. Our passion for using authentic ingredients and maintaining traditional, local cooking methods will surprise and delight you.

Ordered small plates and they were all barely warm. Service was quite slow. Lovely ambience though.

Fantastic meal and experience. Had the most wonderful dishes, some I’d never tried before which I was impressed with. The service was exceptional, attentive, helpful and friendly. The owner Manoj even came over and said hello and gave further advice re drinks/food. My favourite starter was the fried fish dish and main the delicious prawn dish which had a creamy zingy taste to it. My family loved the meal too and this was all topped off with some mocktails, cocktails and an exceptional whiskey

Restaurant was very stylish and the staff were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They were also very good on allergies. The seabass curry and the prawn curry were delicious, some of the small plates were ordered were a bit disappointing. The soft shell crab was too salty and the sweet potato chat was just sweet potato fries with the toppings. But overall a very nice meal. Lots of non alcoholic drink options which is always a bonus.

OMG! This place has the best food, Ambience and service. Such Humble staff serving authentic flavours of coastal India. Would recommend everyone , it’s a must try !

Very poor service seated at a table not set, asked to order as we sat down, starter plates not cleared, hot plate handed to me which burnt, waitress dropped food on my coat, said sorry but left with stained coat, food poor value- chicken bones with no meat in one dish and 4 prawns in another. Warm water served, I could go on…

Absolutely no interaction from the staff had to call to be attentive. A real let down for such a lovely restaurant

This was the 4th visit to Ma He for me and once again I was not disappointed. The booking was made by me on behalf of our BT curry club and all of the attendees enjoyed the experience, so much so that a further booking from one member will be forthcoming. One grouse wad the service charge, as the consensus is that they should decide on the gratuity. But in the words of Arnie “I’ll be back”.
