We had been wanting to try M Test kitchen for a while now. I understand that the menu changes on the regular and maybe we just had a 'miss' but we were all highly disappointed in the food. Nothing was amazing, not even good. It was just OK. Our waitress was very good and should actually go into sales, she was able to sell us on ordering the skate dish which we were hesitant on doing but she made it sound awesome. Sadly, it wasn't but I was more impressed with her than I was annoyed that it was bad! Anyway, nice staff... love that the menu is constantly changing... probably won't give it another try though.

All the food was delicious but our sever who was also the bartender made the night for us. He was very personable and made our dinning experience so great!

Chef Connor at M Test Kitchen provided an exquisite menu for tonight's dinner. Not only were we blown away with all of the flavor profiles of each dish but the level of creativity between each dish as well. My favorite part is that there is no barrier between you and the kitchen, so you can actually have a conversation with the chef. Chef Connor was able to tell us about some of the dishes he was excited about and helped tailor our experience. I can't say I've found any experience like this in Raleigh or the surrounding area. M Test Kitchen should absolutely be at the top of your list for any occasion, especially date night!

Very cool experience! The pacing of the courses was a little fast, but overall it was great! We ordered two plates per course for three people and thought that was a good amount!

Way too expensive for portion size! Food quality is nothing like MSushi which is next door

Creative & unique menu; gem salad is a must. Christina our server was very helpful with our choices & very attentive.

Loved this experience!! Chef Connor was awesome and recommended the tofu/lettuce dish that we initially wrote off- it was SO tasty!! Highly recommend that, the fried rice (shellfish allergy-friendly), and the meatballs (which were more like dumplings- simply mouthwatering). My only feedback is that the recommended portions would have been too much food, unless you’re just there to taste it all! Will def be back :)

Outstanding food and service in quiet SMALL comfortable setting for birthday dinner. Three of us shared three each of our small plates. Excellent GF selection. Every plate, including cocktail, wine and prosecco were the best ever at one restaurant. Novel, interesting, beautifully presented and timed courses were all exceptional

Love the chef and his enthusiasm for the food. He personally came out to chat with every table and didn’t seem rushed to address any questions we had about the food or the preparation. He was so adamant about a certain dish being absolutely exceptional that when we didn’t order it, he brought it to us for free. Will be back again to try a new menu!
