We take the best dishes such as fried rice and dumplings and elevate them to a new flavor profile that is above the norm. Our group of three tried dishes from every category and each one was a hit! They had a great selection of vegetarian options, too, which is always a plus. We will be back!

The crab fried rice was very boring and no taste of crab, just salt and overcooked bacon. The pork belly appetizer was just so so. In effect a meatball made of pork rolled in a white rice. The smoke tofu salad was very good and the Japanese squash gnocchi was the best dish by far. I wouldn’t go back.

Once again Chef Connor provided one delicious course after another. My guests were new to the restaurant as well as being able to interact with the chef. Everyone had such a great time! I would highly recommend coming here for a special occasion or just an exquisite meal!

M Test is one of the best restaurants in the Triangle area. If you haven’t been then it is a must to put on your places to eat. The menu selection has 4 great course choices and the small plates give everyone a try at the different variety of them.

Like all M restaurants we have tried so far, M Test Kitchen is amazing. I loved everything we tried, and we tried almost everything! Imaginative, creative food and stellar service. Even the bathrooms had understated elegance. I recommend this restaurant highly for a special occasion.

We had the Little Gem Salad 10/10. Great smoky flavor. I would not have order if if was not reconmend, but so glad I had a chance to taste it. Spicy Pork Belly. 8/10. Very interesting take on pork belly. Pleasently surprised! Loaded Tots 9.5/10. I loved these tots. Very crispy and the sauce was gest too! Pearl Meatballs 9/10. Served at a great temp, juciy meatballs, great portion size. Nice savory flavor Kabocha Pumpkin Gnocchi 8/10 very delicious and very rich. I loved the sage flavor in this dish. X.O. Fried Rice 5/10. I wasn't a fan of this dish and wont order it again. I was really looking forward to this dish, because I love crab fride rice. I personally did not find any crab in my dish and I found the rice to be chewy and low on flavor. Grilled Denver Steak. 8/10 Great cook on the steak. Overall I would rate M Test Kitchen 9/10 Great food, friendly staff. I will come back!
