We decided to try M Brothers at Mayo, even though it's in a weird location, because we are fans of all Medure Brothers restaurants. Restaurant Medure is one of our favorite restaurants at the beaches and we were frequent guests at M Shack AB before it closed. Unfortunately, this was one of the worst fine dining experiences we've had in a long time. After we were seated, it was 10 minutes before our server, or anyone, came by. Our server rarely came to our table after that. We ordered a couple cocktails (which were OK) and we weren't in any hurry but she came so infrequently that at one point we asked her to please leave a pitcher of water so we could serve ourselves. After an appetizer of fish bites (which were pretty good) she took our utensils. While we were waiting for our utensils, the table next to us returned their entree because it had a long hair in it. Our main dish was delivered 15 minutes later and she hadn't come back and we still didn't have utensils. My main dish was a half rack of lamb and it was pretty good but nothing exceptional. My wife ordered the prime ribeye (rare) with twice baked potato. The steak was tough and full of gristle. The "twice baked potato" was half a potato with some toppings on top, not an actual twice baked potato. Worse yet, the potato was undercooked so it was still hard. My wife couldn't eat much of her entree, despite really trying. She rarely complains, but she was excited about the entree and was really disappointed. To their credit, we told them about the steak and potato and they sent it back to the chef. He agreed it wasn't to their level of quality and took it off our bill, but the poor service and bad entree made for an overall poor experience. We won't ever be back. It makes us appreciate our experiences at Restaurant Medure a little more.

Had Valentine’s Day reservation, arrived and was seated. After about 15 minutes of waiting we asked for just waters to start. When the waitress returned with our waters she took our order (appetizers and entrees). We received our appetizers fairly quickly but then about 2 minutes later our entrees arrived. The food runner all jokes aside slid our obviously brand new appetizer plates out of the way to make room for our entrees. We then had to eat the appetizers as fast as possible to make sure our 50 dollar entrees weren’t ice cold by the time we ate them. Multiple people walked by including what seemed to be a manager who even stopped to ask how everything was (do you not see the full appetizer plates we have while our entrees sit off to the side getting cold?) we then ate our entrees with the empty appetizer plates on our table for the rest of the meal. Our waitress never returned after taking our order so we never got to order wine, or anything at all really. We legitimately were in and out of the place in 45 minutes. Food was good but for the price the service is laughably bad. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

We were not 100% sure what to expect with the restaurant being located in the atrium of the Mayo Hospital Cannaday Bldg. Beautifully designed Lounge and Dining room areas are what we discovered, Live music ( Sax Player) and a real candle on the table. Great service, outstanding apps, dinner and dessert. We would highly recommend M Brothers at Mayo to anyone who is in search of a great dining experience.

This remains our favorite restaurant in Jacksonville area. Service is always welcoming, accommodating and helpful. I have to add, they are so friendly and recognize us with each visit. The food is innovative, delicious and awesome! The cocktails are some of the best we've had. Wine selection has all our favorites. So glad to have this laid back, beautiful, hidden gem. I hate to give it the praise it deserves because I love it's easy to book and get in, but people need to know!

This was delicious! Highly recommend the bread service and the Steak Frites. Service was friendly and fast. What a nice treat and break this was during a long day of testing at the hospital.

A Fantastic Dining Experience! I had an amazing dinner at M Brothers at Mayo and everything was absolutely perfect! From the warm, welcoming ambiance to the impeccable service, every detail made the evening special. The food was outstanding—each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. The Short Rib with Pappardelle was a highlight, and the dessert was the perfect sweet ending. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dining experience! Can’t wait to return. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ambiance was lovely and quiet. The shrimp etouffee was excellent. However the short rib carbonara was a disappointment. The carbonara sauce was bland, and the pappardelle was overcooked. Although the short rib was very tender, there was nothing exceptional about the dish. We would have expected more in terms of service, quality and value for such a high price point.
