Delve into a special menu highlight showcasing the rich flavours of Italy with a selection of signature pasta dishes, curated by our Michelin-trained head chef, Salvatore Rizzato, from Rome, Italy. This unique collaboration skillfully blends tastes from his homeland with a Queensland inspired twist, expertly prepared by our passionate chefs at Lyrebird under his guidance.

For matinee goers, you can enjoy a delicious touch of elegance with a handcrafted Lyrebird High Tea, before your show. $25 per person or $30 per person including a glass of bubbles. Available only for select matinee shows.

We had to ask the waiter three times to get our simple drinks, two glasses of wine. Finally got them about 15 mins later and within two minutes our entrees arrived. This is after telling the waiter and another waiter that our time was very limited as we were going to a show in the concert hall. Then another waiter gave us our entrees and mains and banged the plates down. This restaurant provides pre show meals which means the majority of customers have limited time. We then had to ask for the desserts to come quickly and didn't have time to finish them. Perhaps one part of staff training would be to let them know that they are paid by the customers and need to show some professionalism, care, respect and pride in what they do.

Excellent food and service prior to the show. Everything was really well executed so that we made the performance easily without feeling rushed.

Food was not as good as I have had in the past .. no wow moment. The fish I had was lovely and the oyster fresh but my daughter's pasta was a little too hard and she couldn't eat. We also waited a long time between courses and although we arrived at our 6pm slot on time Oysters came at 6.40 and dinner around 7.10. Given that we had to be at a 7.30 performance any decision to add on a dessert was decided for us. It was meant to be a celebration but felt we were an inconvenience. A shame as normally written great reviews about here

Great 5 star restaurant best restaurant to go if your going to the theatre, nothing better than Lyrebird restaurant before watching a musical at QPAC. Steve Tzaneros

Mixed review for the food. Beautiful gnocchi, disappointing steak. Mixed review for waitstaff, very attentive waiter initially seating us, very disinterested waitress servicing us for the night. Overall, not a bad experience but not great either.

The Lyrebird restaurant is so convenient when going to a show, food has always been good, and value for money. Service is good but could be a little better, just a check in to see that everything is ok, or if you need another drink. I enjoy going to the Lyrebird Restaurant.
