Great dinner at Lyra - the grilled Octopus was delicious, as was the ribeye - perfectly cooked. And the mushrooms were the best I've ever had - earthly and was great with the steak. The Old Fashioned and Dirty Martini were also fabulous!

An awesome restaurant!! Ceviche was really incredible! We also ate Linguine with lobster that was delicious!

I mean we knew it was gonna be good, but it honestly exceeded our expectations. We got the halloumi souvlaki for appetizer with side of fresh bread. For meals we got chicken and lamb chops. I’m not a big lamb chops person but these were unreal. Chicken was so juicy I had make sure it was cooked fully. lol it was. Now.. the orange cake. My goodness. That alone is enough reason to come back. Compliments to the chefs! We also had a great time with he our waiter, Alex!

It was a beautiful restaurant and we had a reservation 3 weeks out and they sat us in this add on section right off the kitchen that did not have the same vibe as the rest of the restaurant. It felt like a 2 star restaurant where we sat. The food was good, but not great for the price. It was just an okay experience but not worth it for the area, price and ambiance.

A wonderful evening in the city with family. The staff & service was top notch. We started with the octopus which was cooked to perfection. We then ordered oysters that came with a salty green sauce. Next was the waygu meatball & grilled calamari. The meatballs were perfect. All the cocktails we ordered were delicious. I had the lamb chops which were prepared to perfection. The only dish I would recommend to stay away from would be the side potatoes. Just didn’t please the palate the way the other dishes did.

They sat us in the back room - which reminded me of Old Country Buffet. It was comical to see them try to seat people in this room and them say no! We had a show to attend after dinner and were in a time crunch, so we just sat. Such a beautiful restaurant and we got sat in a room with fake plants and 90s chairs that made me feel like I was at OCB. Food was very good - they did mess up our order and brought the wrong dish. Things happen, but took a while to get our new dish... Not a fan of the bathrooms having a joined sink area for men and women. Although the area was very pretty, standing next to a man who is blowing his nose while I try to apply lipstick was gross. Also, every stall was out of toilet paper by 6:30pm - kind of crazy. My husband and I go to Viola in Oakbrook often - same owners. We will continue to go to Viola instead of Lyra.
