Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere.

From Friday 19 April, make sure you arrive hungry for our £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley.

Please be advised bookings cannot be made for drinks only. Pets, other than registered guide dogs are not permitted in any public area or restaurant at The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant until 8pm. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible but please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information please contact the restaurant directly.

Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

Incredible food in sumptuous surroundings, with delightful staff. The food is great value despite being £100 a head as it’s so delicious and perfectly prepared, the drinks are however a bit pricey but that’s London for you

Outstanding Prime Rib, on par if not exceeding the best I've had stateside, along with delicious starters and puds. The sides and even bread were also excellent, and a decent wine list to boot.

There was absolutely nothing to fault with the service. Really excellent all round. The waiting staff were polite and attentive, whilst also being helpful when ordering etc. The restaurant itself is very pleasant with wood panelled walls and perfect lighting. You can hear the music from the main concourse in The Ned, but it’s just loud enough to be heard but not over power any conversation. It’s a lovely venue. My only real issue was the steak itself. While it wasn’t terrible, the chef had really over seared it. We had ordered medium-rare on the advice of the waiter, but the outside of the steak was burnt to a crisp. There were a couple of okay sections of meat from the middle of the steak, but the outer pieces were charred and frankly burnt. My partner claimed that’s how it was supposed to be so I didn’t say anything, but I really should have. It was burnt and the taste of charcoal kind of overpowered the meat itself. Really unexpected for a restaurant that only serves steak to not be able to cook said steak properly - despite the high price point. Still, I had a nice evening overall so still had a good experience. I’ll just make sure to order it rare next time.

Starters of Oysters and Scallops both excellent and mains of Dover sole and Beef Wellington, again excellent. It is expensive, but we knew that before we went so no surprises there! Excellent attentive service

The food was absolutely amazing. From the complimentary bread (some of the best bread ive ever had!) to the starters and the all-you-can-eat prime rib, everything was absolutely perfect. So worth the price, but definitely come hungry because these are thick cuts of prime rib!!

Absolutely divine food and service. We went for the Friday unlimited steak and it was the best steak we’ve ever had - seasoned and cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to go again.

Great much quieter part of the Ned which I usually find way too loud! And the food was expensive but very good indeed!
