Situated in a private wood-panelled dining room on the ground floor – once used as the former Bank Manager’s office – Lutyens Grill serves lunch and dinner. The old school grill feel is enhanced by traditional trolley service – choose your steak and soak up the cosy atmosphere.

From Friday 19 April, make sure you arrive hungry for our £100pp three-course set menu featuring unlimited 44-day-aged rare breed prime rib, carved tableside from the trolley.

Please be advised bookings cannot be made for drinks only. Pets, other than registered guide dogs are not permitted in any public area or restaurant at The Ned. Children are welcome in the restaurant until 8pm. We will try to accommodate pushchairs where possible but please be aware there may not be space at the table. If you would like to request a highchair or for further information please contact the restaurant directly.

Please note The Ned reserves the right to refuse or cancel any reservation either ahead or upon arrival.

Absolutely divine food and service. We went for the Friday unlimited steak and it was the best steak we’ve ever had - seasoned and cooked to perfection. We can’t wait to go again.

Great much quieter part of the Ned which I usually find way too loud! And the food was expensive but very good indeed!

The food was well cooked and the service was excellent made to feel very welcome and I would highly recommend the beef wellington

Great steak, amazing service and lovely setting in the Ned. I give it 1 star on value because there is something clearly wrong with the information being displayed on the app. When I booked it, and still as I write, the app says this place is in the "£26 - £40" range on average. Absolutely not. The cheapest steak (which is why most people would go there" is c£35 so once service charge is included you are already at over £40. The most expensive is £250 (share between two people I believe). I'd say the average price per head would be over £100 and that's what we paid. Overall quality wise, I'd say value is actually 4 stars but only once the correct info is displayed on the app. I've seen other restaurants also come up as wildli inaccurate pricing wise recently.

Best steak I’ve ever eaten! The ambience and the service was also great. Lovely mocktails and I could easily have a discussion with my dinner pal as the noise levels were reasonable.

Had a lovely belated Father’s Day dinner with my 3 sons at Lutyens Grill. We had the Friday night special of rib of beef, the beef was fantastic and plenty of meat as required. The only issue was the lobster, disappointing size, I’ve had larger prawns! Overall a really good experience and completely full. I would recommend although felt a little male oriented amongst the staff and the diners.
