Clean Plates All Round. First visit to the new Lussmans in Woburn - the latest addition to this collection of fine restaurants in interesting buildings with scrumptious food. This is a lovely Georgian building, beautifully restored and decorated, and a perfect space for an outing of the taste buds. Lussmans now do carafes of their most popular wines and it is the best way to get a large glass or two of your favourite. We decided to have a main and a pudding - the starters are certainly tempting but their size and quality can fill you up a little bit. Even though their current offer of three courses for £36 (which may change when the new menu begins in a week or two) is great value, we weren't in a gluttonous mood so soon after Christmas. My partner's pan-fried Celeriac steak brought forth much smacking of lips and joyful exclamations, while my chicken schnitzel was perfectly cooked and tasty. The veggie sides were just right with delicious sticky red cabbage the standout. And then came my dark chocolate mousse, which was dark and delicious, while my partner's berry cheesecake hit the spot. A great evening out with attentive and friendly staff and certainly there were no leftovers on our clean plates!

This new restaurant in Woburn is off to a great start! A must dinning out place for fine dining food lovers. Thank you for the warm welcome today. From the moment we came through the door to the time we left… a Great experience mixed with excellent food and service from Marianna her waitress. We will come back again (next week)! Thank you

We had a lovely meal but there was a mix up over the early bird offer. We were told that only the dishes in boxes on the menu were for the special offer and so we ordered from that selection. Once we had the bill we realised this was incorrect. The manager reduced the bill a little bit and apologised, but I felt we had been misled and were out of pocket. So make sure you are clear what dishes are part of the early bird offer.

Lussmanns Woburn is a lovely experience, the staff are wonderfully welcoming, the food and drink is of a very high standard and the restaurant has been beautifully designed.

We had a lovely meal at the new Lussmanns in Woburn. The food was fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere was really welcoming. The service stood out, especially Freya, who made everything feel effortless and enjoyable. It’s a great addition to the area, and I really hope it does well— We will definitely be back!

We had an excellent meal here for my wife’s birthday. We were welcomed and showed to our table straight away. Service was very good with lovely staff able to answer all questions. The food and the wine was amazing. Would definitely visit again.

Great atmosphere and we were warmly welcomed. We had asked for a quiet table and that’s exactly what we got. Wonderful prawn cocktail with really nice sea food sauce which didn’t swamp the prawns and lettuce. It was served in a tall glass but it was very difficult to eat with a long knickerbocker glory type spoon and with no fork!! We both ordered the shoulder of lamb which was lovey. The sprout top greens would have been lovely had they been cooked more. I couldn’t eat them!!..The other vegetables were lovely. However the whole meal would have been so much better if it had been served on hot plates. The plates were cold and by the time they reached our table everything including the lamb was cooling off!!…Having said that we like the Lassmann Resteraunt’s very much having visited Hertford and StAlbans and had a lovely experience..what’s good is that the Woburn resteraunt is the closest to where we live so we will be returning to Woburn on a regular basis..

Our first visit to Woburn, we have had one meal at St.Albans. We were warmly welcomed in an open and relaxed manner which I particularly appreciated. The service was attentive without being intrusive. I love the ethos and our food was of high quality and delicious. We will definitely visit again!

First time in a Lussmans and loved everything about it! Staff were above and beyond just like the food! A delightful experience that e will definitely be repeating!
