    We were recommended to try Lussmans and honestly, it was a delightful experience from the service to the food quality. WE even finished our evening with a liquor coffee something we have not done for years

    You can’t get better fish away from the coast than at Lussmanns. We love it!

    We left after 20 minutes waiting, with no drinks or menu having being offered. The restaurant was understaffed and we did not want to spend an evening waiting ages at every stage. Can’t comment on the food as we didn’t get to try any.

    We have been regular customers of Lussmans for years, but the last few meals that we have had, have not been of the previous standard. In particular, two of the vegetarian options have been of a relatively poor quality. Fritters that did not in the least resemble fritters a few weeks ago in Harpenden and a goats cheese salad that had a miniscule amount of cheese in it for £16.50 in St Albans. We will be giving Lussmans a rest for a while. Somehow the standard of food seems to have changed for the worse. Staff remain pleasant and helpful. I am sad to say that at present I would not recommend Lussmans to a friend although I have often done so in the past.
