Lussmanns in Hitchin is such a lovely place to eat and enjoy with friends or family. The service is always delivered with a smile and all the colleagues work together to deliver the best food in a friendly and courteous way. We have never been rushed in our selection of the great food on offer or to leave our table. Perfect in every way. Many thanks for a lovely dining experience , Table 16 ;-)

Really disappointed actually. Haven’t been for a while so we were looking forward to it. Our food was really bland and had zero flavour. My halibut was over cooked and dry. We all left feeling a bit subdued at paying over £400 when I have more flavour in my meals at home.

Not the best visit to Lussmans for us. Unfortunately it was very noisy due to almost continuous traffic of motor bikes and fumes - it might have been better to have the windows shut and the air conditioning on - although I appreciate that the bike racers were beyond the control of the restaurant. Food was very average.

We always enjoy Lussmanns. Food is consistently good (lovely flavours, interesting dishes) but what makes it special is the outstanding service. A fantastic team - in particular Muriel and Daria - make every visit delightful.

Had a delicious Saturday lunch, the fishcakes were a highlight. Love how the menu now shows the fixed price options which includes lots of favourites. The service was friendly and efficient as always, and was great to see Greg!

We had a wonderful special family lunch for my mothers birthday. The food was delicious and the staff super helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Our table was at the front of the restaurant which was light and airy. We would definitely come again.

First visit and will definitely be returning. Food was delicious, cooked fresh and clear that care is taken with every plate! Staff were attentive and super kind- especially helpful with allergies!
