A very enjoyable evening with my friends. Very tasty, good quality food. The waiter was very helpful in answering our questions regarding ordering and choice of food. I will certainly be visiting again and will recommend to my other friends. Highly recommended.

Great new restaurant to Highgate Village. Super friendly staff and delicious food that seems to be sustainable and seasonal. Also dog friendly in the cafe part of the restaurant which is great as there’s a lot of dog owners in the area.

I have already left a review on Trustpilot (a rather lengthy one), so won't repeat here, but can repeat that the gist of the review was our dining (first visit) experience was a dire one! This was sadly exacerbated by the fact that we'd wanted a decent and more positive end to a truly difficult day (memorial), but sadly that did not happen. Our concerns and issues were raised with a member of staff (who agreed with our comments!); this member of staff promised to pass them on. Had it not been for her, the evening would have been even more bleak! In short, the comments were in relation to a very, very long waiting time for our food (had to ask for it!) and the quality (or lack of it) etc. of the course I had ordered for myself, and not least the pricing/value for what we got and had to pay for! Really lovely food made extra special by the fantastic staff. Felt very well looked after and my friend and I had a lovely catch up. Tad noisy but I suspect that was just people enjoying themselves and it didn't really detract from our enjoyment of the evening. Will most definitely be back.

We enjoyed a relaxing meal on a Tuesday evening visit to the new Lussmanns. We are familiar with the Lussmanns in Harpenden and St Albans. This addition to the Lussmanns stable is stylishly laid out and we had a comfortable table for three in the raised back section. There is a pleasant-looking bar area at the front which me might try another time. Food was good and we enjoyed a range of decent starters, including sardines and boquerones, before main courses which were chicken schnitzel, steak and a burger; all good. The desserts choice was appealing and we had a nice orange and almond pudding, brulee and affogato. The wine list is extensive and we had a bottle of prosecco for £38.50. Service was excellent; friendly, welcoming and efficient. Thank you - we shall return to Lussmanns, Highgate.

This new opening did really well. We were a large table and all our orders were accurate and came together. The staff were friendly, if a bit nervous, but I'm sure they will grow in confidence. The menu is quite varied but with classic dishes and something for everyone. The starter choices were limited and some more thought needs to be given to that. There was no offer of bread for the table, which I would usually support, but we were starving, so it would have been nice to have been offered. I was impressed that for a new opening, it looked as though it was going smoothly. Will definitely return.

Starters were acceptable but uninspiring. The trout was served on a very unappetising mass of potatoes and hideous red mess. The service was extremely slow despite the restaurant being quiet. All in all a very disappointing experience.

Pretty good first visit .Food was good. Service a little shaky but polite. This will improve in time as they've just opened. Nevertheless a good local restaurant to use.
