A very pleasant mid week lunch with friends. The restaurant was quiet and we were given the table we requested in the front window. The lunchtime segment is good value and has a wide choice. Service was perfect - attentive but not intrusive. Would go again and look forward to trying other Lussmann branches too.

We sat in the courtyard which was beautiful. All 3 of our meals were spectacular. Would definitely visit again

Our food was delicious and the service was excellent. We had a wide range of dishes and all of them were excellent. My son really liked the lager which was locally brewed.

Another delicious meal in this lovely restaurant. My friend and I ordered the same food apart from the desserts and were not disappointed. The beetroot and goats cheese starter looked and tasted so good. The Cornish sole was served on the bone and was perfectly cooked and seasoned as were the accompanying vegetables. Desserts of chocolate mousse and Cointreau crème brûlée were divine. Service was professional, welcoming and friendly. This is a very good restaurant. If you are looking for it, Lussmanns in Berkhamsted is now called The Five Bells - back to its original 17th-century name.
