out with friends for lunch. great atmosphere, you could hear yourself talk. Food was really good. Staff were attentive. We weren't rushed and thoroughly enjoyed our afternoon

Food was just gorgeous. Greek salad with lamb was amazing. Service great and a beautiful dining room.

As always Camille took great care of us and made it a wonderful evening. The food was outstanding and it was so nice to be attended to by the new manager too who made us so welcome.

A great evening. The outside space where we sat was really good. The menu was interesting, I had the ham lock which was lovely and then the cornish sole which was excellent. A decent size and well cooked. Service was a little slow to start with but we were in no hurry and the outside space meant dogs were welcomed. We will return.

Delicious fresh food, very good service. Good choice of seating, helpful about food intolerance kindly reduced the sound level of music when requested.

It was a lovely warm evening and the outside area is very attractive. Lissmann service is impeccable and so refreshing compared to the usual indifferent service elsewhere. The menu is imaginative and short, and the food is very tasty. I had sole, my husband had the lamb cutlet special and we shared missed veg and new potatoes. A lovely evening. It’s not cheap but why should it be? Our only moan is that we’re not dog lovers and don’t enjoy sharing our evening meal out with them, but they(3) were well behaved and we appear to be in the minority in Berkhamsted! ( I don’t believe they’re allowed inside the restaurant) We will return. Thank you to our lovely waiter.
