Chef Raphael Lunetta and Emilio Cuyuch chef driven neighborhood diner with rustic California dining room and bar. Lunetta serves great food paired with locally roasted coffee options, classic cocktails, large selection of craft beer and delicious wines that we enjoy drinking with our family & friends.We buy the freshest ingredients we can find. We cook seasonally because that’s what is fresh and best. We support local farmers and businesses whenever we can, because the best flavor naturally follows. Menus for Lunetta are locally sourced and responsibly grown, using seasonal ingredients based on the abundant product available on the California Coast. Our full bar features classic as well as craft cocktails using the finest in artisan spirits, mixers and seasonal fruits and vegetables. Food was definitely over priced for the portions. I ordered two mimosas and 5 min later before they were brought to the table, I requested to bring a pitcher instead and was told I was not allowed to change my order.

The service is always great here. My salmon was a little “fishy”, meaning I don’t think it was fresh. The waiter said it was their signature dish. The vegetables were cooked perfectly, although there was quite a strong lemon flavor. The potato purée was absolutely fantastic! The ambience is usually wonderful in the “old LA” fashion. We had a table of 4 women seated next to us after we arrived, there were plenty of other places to seat them. The problem was their cackling. Not laughing, cackling. Loudly! It wasn’t the best experience, but I’ve had worse.

Terrific local restaurant. Been going for 7 years now. Great service, great food. Perhaps the best French fries in the city. Great burger, steak, salmon Caesar,. etc

Ordered the Lobster Benedict special, asked for the poached eggs to not have runny whites. Some confusion there, eggs came out blasted. Remade, but found a hair in the egg towards the end of the meal. Pretty disgusting. Because I was with people, I didn't say anything. Disappointing as I especially love the Benedict with the shaved white ham and should have followed my instinct on that one. Other dishes that were ordered were the lemon ricotta pancakes which was enjoyed and the chicken and pancakes. I tasted the chicken and was surprised at how tough it was. Again, said nothing as I didn't want these issues to overshadow an enjoyable time catching up with friends. Also had the potato chips and onion dip which was excellent as always. I'll likely return. I've been there several times and the food and service has always been good, and the service was good today as well. Everyone has an off day now and then.

We had to change our reservation time and were very flexible. The atmosphere was very relaxed, which I appreciated.
