A Bar & Brasserie themed to celebrate the past, present and the future right in the creative county of Staffordshire. Lunar serves great quality and is a beautiful experiential venue housing an abundance of artwork curated by local gallery, Barewall of Burslem, Stoke on Trent.

All food and beverages are served on Wedgwood tableware and Waterford crystal glassware offering a truly unique and quality experience.

The food was excellent. The use of local artists really added to the ambience. One of the staff took us on a tour of the building and was knowledgeable and charming. The only reasons for not giving 5 stars across the board were as follows: - The Cherry Sour cocktail had a very peculiar chemically aftertaste (no, not just sour!) We didn't finish it but nobody thought to ask why and just cleared it away. - One of the desserts had a substitution (they swapped honeycomb ice cream out for mango sorbet, which made sense for the dish being served), but instead of explaining the change they just served it and hoped we wouldn't notice. - The music didn't seem to match the vibe of the place, it was at an acceptable level though (except for the toilets where it was absolutely blasted). A little more attention paid to gathering feedback from guests and keeping guests informed would easily make this 5 stars all the way.

Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and the food was very good. Service charge was very steep. I would always tip for good derive but don’t like being forced into it 😓

Excellent food and drinks but some of the waiters were a little inexperienced and we had to make orders several times. Overall a lovely dining experience in wonderful surroundings and we will definitely be back for an evening meal soon. Thanks!

Lovely warm welcome and talk about Lunar. Beautiful dinner ware and glasses , excellent choice of wine however price of Prosecco was expensive compared to the excellent red wine we had. Food very good and really tasty but the fillet a little overdone. I'm always disappointed when fellow diners turn up looking like they've been for a ramble rather than a fine dining experience, but that's me personal preference. Overall a lovely meal, thank-you

The whole experience from stepping through the door was wonderful. We were welcomed warmly and the food and service was excellent. We will definitely treat ourselves to this little luxury again. Thank you

Sweetcorn soup was excellent with rosemary butter bread. Chicken dish was lovely but only came with smooth potato and broccoli, woukd have been nice with something more colourful like red cabbage/ carrots as looked bland but it did taste lovely. I thought this dish was very expensive for what we got. Charged £3 each for refillable tap water which I think is wrong. Overall though we did enjoy and the staff are very nice and courteous.

What an amazing experience, from the minute you arrive to the time you leave, the customer experience is fantastic. Polite helpful staff, nothing is too much trouble and if it’s not on their menu they are more than willing to make it. The food is outstanding, I find going out for meals difficult as being in the same hospitality business I find things I can critic, but Lunar was faultless. Everything cooked and presented beautifully, served professionally, the atmosphere just right. We were given a tour of he venue and shown into the secret bar - what a quirky delight. The passion that Phillip has and shows is a credit to him and his team it oozes out throughout the whole visit and makes you feel like a friend for life not a passing customer - We can’t wait to return and we’ve already been shouting from the roof tops about this venue. Amazing!!
