Enhance your Lunar Experience and take home extra special memories by enjoying our Chefs Table area, including a glass of bubbles on arrival as well as tea and coffee to complete your meal. Set away in its own large enclave, our Chefs Table boasts a lounge area to relax in before, during & after dining. Guests have their own private space in the perfect setting; relaxed, private and high end. When ready to dine guests will feast at our bespoke 4m concrete table in full view of our Chefs bringing their creations to life. Please remember to include any dietary requirements when booking or contact us for any other special requests. For larger bookings a member of our team may be in touch to request a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

Fabulous food and service. Good choice for pescatarians and excellent drinks menu. Mocktails lovely and much welcomed as the designated driver. Favourite place to eat.

For a Michelin starred restaurant, it was a little disappointing unfortunately. I had booked the 9 course tasting menu, but 3 hours before our arrival i received a call to say they could not offer that today. No explanation, just you can order from the very limited A La Carte menu. When we arrived, no apology , we were just shown to a table. The starters were luke warm, however very tasty. Having ordered a bottle of wine not once did any of the numerous staff, who were just standing around and not busy most of the time, come over to pour the wine, which had been placed out of my reach. I then had to get out of my seat to pour a glass. The mains and deserts were good, although my steak was brought without the chips, which I had to ask for and wait another 5 minutes for them to arrive. In summary food very tasty, although some cold, but the service was very average and what you would get eating at any normal pub. Wont be returning sadly.

Worse experience ever. We booked the Chef’s table for a 60th anniversary. No Chef appeared to explain the menu. The food was average, the service was poor and the wine flight was disappointing. We complained to the manager who had no time for us. The opening course was a slice of stale bread with marmite butter!!!!!! And this place charges Michelin prices!!! Avoid at all costs. Disaster. The restaurant, management and chef should all be ashamed of themselves. I cannot explain how disappointing this “experience” was. We will never return or recommend the place to others.

A lovely place to celebrate a family birthday. The food was absolutely delicious and had the best chocolate fondant I’ve ever tasted for pudding! The staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely be going back again!

This restaurant is under new management since Niall Keating left for pastures new. To bring them up to par they need to up their game with service and the front of house needs to speak to the kitchen. Our party were shown to the table served water then suddenly before our cocktails came our first course was served.We had not been given a wine menu or asked if we wanted any. We asked for our first course to be returned to the kitchen whilst we finished our cocktails, but they returned soon after. Following our last course we were not offered coffees or after dinner drinks. I feel they could have increased our bill by at least £100 . That's the secret of a successful restaurant. Turnover. Pull your socks up guys.

Excellent service from all staff. Food was served quickly and was delicious. My only gripe is that when booking we selected to dine on the 2 courses for £20 lunch menu but when we asked after being seated we were told that they weren't serving it on the day. We felt that £57 for two people was a very expensive lunch for one course and one drink each (one beer and one soft drink)

The service was very good, professional and friendly, the food was excellent, we had asked for a specific table and seating arrangement and that was organised for us which was perfect. We will definitely be returning. One tiny point, was that one item on our bill was charged at a higher amount than what was on the menu, I don’t know if this was an error on the menu or on our bill. I didn’t notice it until after we had left the restaurant.

Amazing service and exceptionally delicious food. The value was great too. Although, the à la carte and the £20 menu shared dishes, which didn’t seem to make sense for value reasons. It was cheaper to buy the same dish from the lunch menu. The restaurant seems to not really have a consistent theming - love the lunar elements. However, the Beatles statues were an odd and overbearing addition, as was the wall of art on the back wall. It detracted from the clean design of the restaurant. The toilet section felt out of sync with the restaurant too. The spray painted doors didn’t match, nor did the sparkly mirrors etc. We loved it and will be back but thought the ambience/decor was a bit jarring. My partner didn’t feel the same as he wasn’t facing the Beatles or the wall of mismatched art. All in all, it’s great to have a restaurant of this calibre in the local area. A great place.

Good morning, Thank you so much for your review and I'm delighted to see that you enjoyed your time with us. Just to offer an explanation to our decor, we work with Barewall Gallery to display their portfolio as this allows us to promote the amazing local artists that we have from Stoke-on-Trent, all of our artwork is from local talent. This includes the prototypes of The Beatles that we have in the restaurant. These were sculpted by Andy Edwards, from Stoke-on-Trent, but the main reason we have those on display is the prototypes and the final versions were made on site at Wedgwood, so we felt it a great opportunity to show this amazing work. I'm so pleased to that you liked our restaurant though and I do hope that we will see you again soon. All the best Steve
