We love Luna, although our server was not the best. First time we didn’t have excellent service

My friend and I made a reservation for a Friday evening. We were seated right away and water and bread was brought to our table. It seemed like a while until our server came over. We each ordered a mixed drink. He brought us our drinks within a few minutes and then disappeared again. We ordered our entrées and asked for a side salad with the house dressing. When he brought our salads, we were surprised at how tiny they were. The best I can describe it is that it was in a bowl that would be more appropriate for a dessert. The dressing came on the side. I got ketchup instead of the house dressing. It took me a few minutes until I was able to get someone's attention to switch it out for me. I ordered the short rib ravioli. It was excellent! I've had it before and it was so good that I made sure that I ordered it again. My friend ordered the chicken Parmesan. It was a huge order. The pasta was nicely sauced, and it was al dente. When we were done, our server asked us if we wanted dessert. We stated that we would take a look at the tray. He disappeared again and came back and told us that someone else had the tray so he would describe the desserts for us. It was confusing as he was going back-and-forth between the desserts and the flavors of the gelato. We settled on a dessert and they were brought to us promptly. My friend got the tiramisu which she really liked and I got the chocolate covered cream puffs! They were really good and I would order them again. My only disappointment was that the desserts were $12 each. Overall, it was a great night and the food was delicious. Our server could have been much more attentive and I feel that it would've made it a better evening!

Service was very disappointing. Had to ask several times for refills and silverware. Soup arrived after main course. Drinks were good but the food was far below expectations for the price.

Food is well prepared and wait staff is attentive but not hovering. We’ve been there numerous times and it has been consistently good.

Our dinner was fantastic, our only issue was how loud it was in the restaurant. We ended up taking our dessert to go so we could actually hear each other when we talked.

Everything about Luna was exceptional tonight! The service was top-notch, the food was amazing, and the ambiance was fun! The best restaurant I have been to on the west shore in years! Will 100% be back soon!

Second time we’ve been to Luna. Our first was early on after opening. I’m glad we waited to try it again. This dinner was better by far. My only knock was the entrees were delivered a little too quickly after appetizers. I’d have preferred a bit of time between courses but that is truly a minor point. My lamb lollipops were perfectly prepared and very tasty. A very nice dinner and we’ll be back.

A bit pricey for pasta meals. We had Chicken Piccata and the Pappardelle Ragu special. Also, the Chicken Piccata was a bit heavy on the lemon. The food was good, but pricey. I believe it would be a nice place to grab drinks and apps.

Second visit to Luna and we were equally pleased as the first visit. Very busy for Tuesday night with several large groups. Service was efficient and the food was excellent. We will be back soon.
